Empleo amplía en 720.012 euros las subvenciones para el empleo joven

The General Directorate of Employment of the Regional Ministry of Economy, Business and Employment of Castilla-La Mancha has increased by 720,012.00 euros the available credit for the 2026 financial year for the subsidies regulated in Decree 103/2022, of September 13, aimed at favoring access to quality employment for young people and promoting their professional qualification. The decision is formalized in the Resolution of 10/13/2026, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM) number 200, of October 19, 2026, with official reference 2026/7461 and identification BDNS 902087. With this increase, the total budget for the call amounts to 3,754,142.00 euros.

The framework for the aid is Decree 103/2022, of September 13, which regulates the direct granting of subsidies for youth employment and professional qualification with co-financing from the European Social Fund. The regulation was published in DOCM number 181, of September 20, 2022, and its correction of errors was published in DOCM number 70, of April 15, 2026. Article 5.3 requires the General Directorate competent in employment matters to publish annually, following the processing of the expenditure file, a resolution fixing the available credit, such that the application period cannot open until then.

The starting point was the Resolution of 04/24/2026, published in DOCM number 82, of May 4, 2026, which set the 2026 credit at 3,034,130.00 euros charged to programs 324B “Mixed training and employment programs” and 322B “Employment promotion and management.” Of that amount, the European Social Fund Plus co-financed 2,731,180.00 euros. According to the now-published text, the progress in the management of the call and the volume of applications submitted highlighted the need to expand the credit.

Distribution of the additional 720,012 euros

The expansion is concentrated in two of the four subsidy lines, both charged to program 322B and fund FPA0090011:

  • Line 2 (training contracts for obtaining professional practice): 320,008.00 euros, in item G/322B/4764H.
  • Line 4 (conversion into indefinite contracts and indefinite hiring of people who ended their employment relationship through training or relief contracts): 400,004.00 euros, in item G/322B/4761G.

Lines 1 (alternating training contracts) and 3 (relief contracts) receive no additional credit in this resolution.

New map of the call

After the expansion, the distribution by lines is as follows:

  • Line 1: 1,200,000.00 euros.
  • Line 2: 1,120,028.00 euros.
  • Line 3: 34,100.00 euros.
  • Line 4: 1,400,014.00 euros.

The resolution is based on Article 23.1.b) of Decree 21/2008, of February 5, which allows for an increase in the maximum amount up to 40 percent of the planned credit, subject to a declaration of availability and the prior approval of the budget modification. The text also invokes the first final provision of Decree 37/2024, of July 9, and Article 7 of Decree 64/2025, of September 9, regarding the organic structure of the Department, and is published in accordance with Articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies.

438 people and 3.45 million in planned expenditure

The financial and performance indicators associated with the 2026 fiscal year are also updated. The financial indicator, understood as the total planned volume of public expenditure, stands at 3,451,192.00 euros from the ESF+ Castilla-La Mancha 2021-2027 program: 1,370,014.00 euros for line 4 within Priority 1 “Employment, adaptability, entrepreneurship and social economy,” and 2,081,178.00 euros for lines 1, 2, and 3 in Priority 5 “Youth Employment.”

The performance indicator forecasts 438 people (234 men and 204 women):

  • 137 people hired on an indefinite basis in line 4 (75 men and 62 women).
  • 136 young people between 18 and 29 years old participating in lines 2 and 3 (68 men and 68 women).
  • 165 people in line 1 (91 men and 74 women).

Regarding the results, it is estimated that 108 people will maintain employment after their time in line 4 (61 men and 47 women), that 18 people will obtain employment, including self-employment, after participating in lines 2 and 3 (8 men and 10 women), and that 34 people will achieve this in line 1 (19 men and 15 women).

Effects from publication

The resolution, signed in Toledo on October 13, 2026, by the Director General of Employment, María Elena García Zalve, takes effect from the day of its publication in the DOCM, which occurs this October 19. The full text of the call can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database, via the address associated with identifier 902087.

The expansion comes while the call is already underway and responds to the actual demand for applications, thus directly benefiting companies that formalize training or indefinite contracts and unemployed persons under 30 seeking their first qualified job. The weight of the European Social Fund Plus in the financing further links these grants to the European Union’s cohesion and youth employment objectives for the 2021-2027 period.
