EMACSA convoca dos plazas de Auxiliar Técnico de Logística por concurso-oposición

The Municipal Water Company of Córdoba, S.A. (EMACSA) has announced a public selection process to fill two positions for Technical Logistics Assistant through a competitive examination and merit-based system with open access. The regulatory bases are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 207, dated October 26, 2026, in the Other Entities section, under the official reference BOP-A-2026-3588. The deadline for submitting applications ends on November 27, 2026, both dates inclusive.

Two permanent jobs and progressive coverage until 2028

The call is supported by the current EMACSA Collective Agreement —published in the BOP of Córdoba number 239, dated December 16, 2022— and the EMACSA Competition Regulations for external promotion. The two positions are classified under professional group 2 A, technical functional area, and are permanent: the selected individuals will be hired under an indefinite-term employment contract.

When the hiring is linked to the partial retirement of a company employee, the contract will initially be formalized as an indefinite relief contract, in accordance with Article 12 of the consolidated text of the Workers’ Statute Law, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23. In such a case, the selected person must meet the requirements of the current legislation on the date of formalization, including being in a state of unemployment.

The positions will be filled progressively according to the organizational needs of the company and within a maximum period ending on December 31, 2028. EMACSA may also establish a list of those who do not obtain a position to meet temporary hiring needs.

Electronic applications until November 27

The period begins the day after publication in the BOP and concludes on November 27, 2026, with no subsequent applications admitted. Registration is mandatory via electronic means, through the form enabled on the EMACSA website (emacsa.es/ofertas-de-empleo); manual applications or those sent via other channels will not be accepted.

The participation requirements, which must be held on the date of publication and maintained until the formalization of the contract, are as follows:

  • Intermediate vocational training qualification (LOGSE or LOE) or level 2 professional certificate in the commerce and marketing family, or alternatively, a Baccalaureate or higher qualification in the same fields (higher-level cycles, level 3 certificates, or university degrees linked to logistics, transport, supply chain, operations, or business management).
  • Spanish nationality, nationality of a European Union member state, or a valid authorization to work in Spain.
  • Valid Class B driver’s license, not expired due to loss of points.
  • Not having been dismissed through disciplinary proceedings from any Public Administration or public company.
  • To be at least 16 years old and not exceed the compulsory retirement age, in addition to having the functional capacity for the position.

Those with a recognized disability degree equal to or greater than 33% may request adaptations of time and means in the registration form, attaching the recognition resolution and the technical medical report.

A 100-point process with an eliminatory competitive examination

The process will be evaluated based on a maximum of 100 points. The examination phase accounts for 70% and is eliminatory; it consists of two exercises performed in the same session, each with a maximum of 35 points and a minimum score of 14.00 points to pass.

  • First exercise (theoretical): a multiple-choice questionnaire of between 75 and 100 questions with four alternative answers, expandable by up to five reserve questions; maximum duration of 120 minutes. Each error subtracts one-third of the value of a correct answer.
  • Second exercise (practical): resolution of cases linked to the functions of the position, with the possibility of using drawing tools, calculators, or other technical tools.

Only a maximum of 30 candidates who have passed both exercises and totaled at least 35 points in the examination will proceed to the merit phase. The merit phase accounts for the remaining 30%, with the following scale:

  • Professional experience in similar positions: up to 10 points (6 outside of EMACSA and 4 within the company, at a rate of 0.10 points per full month).
  • Formal education qualification: up to 10 points.
  • Other non-formal training related to the position: up to 7 points, at a rate of 0.01 points per hour.
  • Having passed previous EMACSA calls for the same position without obtaining a vacancy: up to 3 points.

Tribunal and testing schedule

The Tribunal is constituted in accordance with article 23 of the collective agreement. It is presided over by Carmen Castillo Pérez de Siles; the company representatives are Diego José Galán López, Dolores Álvarez Sánchez, and Miguel A. Muñoz Rodríguez; for the works council, Enrique Aguilar Cubillo, Carmen Delgado Prieto, and Manuel Cobos Plazuelo; and Rafael José Serrano Raya serves as secretary.

The start of the tests shall not be earlier than 45 calendar days from the publication of the call, and at least five business days must elapse between the communication of the date, place, and time of each exercise and its execution. Proposed candidates must pass an eliminatory medical examination prior to hiring. The rules were signed in Córdoba, on October 20, 2026, by the Director-Manager, María Teresa Carrillo Cobo.

The call is released with the examination calendar yet to be determined and the publication of the lists of admitted and excluded candidates planned for the company’s website, where appeals—which shall have a period of five calendar days—will also be processed. For job seekers interested in the logistics sector, the offer represents a pathway to a permanent position in a municipal public company, with a one-month registration period starting this Tuesday, which does not allow for paper submissions.
