El SEPEPA reparte 461.111 euros para formación con compromiso de contratación

The Public Employment Service of the Principality of Asturias (SEPEPA), under the Department of Science, Industry, and Employment, has set the credit for the 2026-2027 call for grants to training entities for training actions leading to professional certificates with a hiring commitment aimed at unemployed workers at 461,111.67 euros. The final distribution is published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA) no. 214, of November 5, 2026, through the Resolution of October 28, 2026, of the autonomous body. The document, with official reference Code 2026-09037, specifies how much money corresponds to each of the three application periods.

The original call is the Resolution of August 3, 2026, of SEPEPA, published in BOPA no. 154, of August 11, 2026. Its Seventh section provided for estimated funding of 461,111.67 euros, therefore the regulation required the publication of the final distribution before resolving the grant. The basis is article 58.5 of the Regulations of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which requires this prior publication in the same media as the call when the distribution between credits is estimated.

Three budgetary applications and two annualities

The amount is divided among three applications of the General Budgets of the Principality of Asturias, all linked to project code 2026/000879:

  • 85.01.322J.741.001: 44,445.00 euros (26,667.00 in 2026 and 17,778.00 in 2027).
  • 85.01.322J.771.012: 250,000.00 euros (150,000.00 in 2026 and 100,000.00 in 2027).
  • 85.01.322J.781.032: 166,666.67 euros (100,000.00 in 2026 and 66,666.67 in 2027).
  • Total: 276,667.00 euros charged to 2026 and 184,444.67 euros charged to 2027.

These maximum credits per application and annuity remain unchanged from the initial forecast; what varies is their internal distribution among the three application submission periods.

Distribution by application periods

Each of the three periods is endowed with practically the same global amount, around 153,703 euros, but with a different composition by item:

  • First period: 14,815.00 euros from 741.001, 123,904.50 from 771.012 and 14,984.38 from 781.032, for a total of 153,703.88 euros.
  • Second period: 14,815.00 euros from 741.001, 42,762.17 from 771.012 and 96,126.73 from 781.032, up to 153,703.90 euros.
  • Third period: 14,815.00 euros from 741.001, 83,333.33 from 771.012 and 55,555.56 from 781.032, up to 153,703.89 euros.

The resolution is based on the competence of the president of SEPEPA pursuant to Article 12.1 of Order EFP/942/2022, of September 23, and the Principality of Asturias Law 3/2005, of July 8, on the Public Employment Service, whose basic organic structure is established by Decree 39/2009, of June 3, as amended by Decrees 10/2016, of March 16, and 214/2023, of December 16.

Admitted applications and appeal process

The Evaluation Commission provided for in the eleventh section of the call analyzed the applications on October 22, 2026, and declared all applicant entities admitted, as recorded in the minutes of the same date. On this basis, SEPEPA closes the allocation and notifies the beneficiary entities through its publication in the BOPA.

This act does not exhaust the administrative route: an administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed against it before the head of the Department of Science, Industry, and Employment within one month starting from the day following its notification, pursuant to Article 27.2 of the Principality of Asturias Law 2/1995, of March 13, and Articles 121 and 122 of Law 39/2015, of October 1. The resolution was signed in Oviedo on October 28, 2026, by the Presidency of the organization.

The allocation is important for the training entities applying for these grants, as they now know exactly how much credit is available in each period, and for unemployed persons, who gain access to training itineraries linked to professional certificates with a company committed to hiring them. With the allocation published, SEPEPA is in a position to resolve the grants and launch the training actions according to the scheduled calendar for 2026-2027.
