Health Department publishes the final list of nurses and offers 133 positions

The Riojan Health Service has made public the final list of the 109 people who have passed the selection process for the category of Nurse, corresponding to the Public Employment Offer for the years 2022, 2023, and 2024, along with the 133 vacant positions being offered. The decision corresponds to the Human Resources Directorate of the Management of the Riojan Health Service, through the Resolution of October 7, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 194, of October 8, 2026, with official reference BOR-A-20261008-II–1139. Applicants have a period of seven business days to submit their destination request.

The call for the selection tests was approved by Resolution of June 30, 2025, from the Human Resources Directorate of the Management of the Riojan Health Service, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 126, of July 3, 2025. The process covered provision via open competition, internal promotion, and the quota for people with disabilities, and is governed by the general bases approved by Resolution of April 30, 2025. The resolution now published ends the administrative route and bears the signature of the Director of Human Resources, Begoña Lema de Pablo.

Annex I: 109 approved persons

Annex I contains the final list of approved persons, ordered by total score, resulting from the sum of the competitive examination phase and the merit phase.

• Internal promotion: a single person, Mendoza Torres, Ana Isabel, with 43.2734 points.
• Open competition: 108 people, led by Mata Apellániz, Nerea (71.6238), Lozano Diez, Belén (68.7530), Rebollo Ortiz, Nerea (65.8113), Ruiz García, Tamara (65.5813), and Lázaro Pérez, Laura (64.0582).
• The list closes with Martínez Duque, Aitor, in position 109, with 50.1867 points.

Annex II: 133 vacant positions offered

Annex II details the positions being offered, all in the Nurse category with code E067, and their distribution by centers and preference zones.

• 23 positions in the Health Area Support Unit, with destinations in basic health zones 13-19, Nájera, Haro, Calahorra, Alfaro, Arnedo, Santo Domingo, and those of Logroño Joaquín Elizalde and Logroño Espartero.
• 2 positions in the Primary Care Center of Albelda de Iregua.
• 10 positions in the Calahorra Hospital.
• 98 positions in the San Pedro Hospital.

Deadlines, documentation, and appeals

The choice of position will be carried out according to the order of precedence in Annex I, and the assigned destinations will be definitive. Those who do not request any of the offered positions will receive one of those that remain vacant, once the requests of the other applicants have been addressed.

• The destination request is formalized using the Annex III form, available at the Human Resources Department (Hospital San Pedro, calle Piqueras 98, Logroño) and at www.riojasalud.es.
• The deadline is seven business days from the day following the publication, in accordance with Article 33 of Law 39/2015.
• The required documentation includes the degree, proof of nationality, a sworn statement of not having been dismissed from service, a medical certificate of functional capacity, a Class B driver’s license, and a negative certificate from the Central Registry of Sexual Offenders.
• An optional appeal for reversal may be filed against the resolution before the Presidency of the Riojan Health Service within one month, or a challenge may be brought before the contentious-administrative jurisdictional order within two months.

The publication closes a selection process affecting hundreds of candidates and orders the incorporation of new permanent statutory personnel into the Riojan healthcare workforce. With 133 available destinations for 109 successful candidates, the allocation of positions will determine the filling of vacancies in primary and hospital care, especially at the Hospital San Pedro, which concentrates the majority of the offer.
