The commercial court of Albacete declares Arlumi Renovables bankrupt
Por FactBox Admin

The Commercial Court No. 1 of Albacete has declared Arlumi Renovables, Sociedad Limitada (CIF B91916007) in voluntary bankruptcy and has agreed to the opening of the special procedure for micro-enterprises, as well as the opening of the liquidation phase. This is done via an order dated September 23, 2026, which is not final, published by the Official Gazette of the Mercantile Registry in issue number 213, Thursday, November 5, 2026, First Section (Entrepreneurs, Registered Acts, province of Albacete), with the official reference BORME-A-2026-213-02.
An insolvency proceeding under the rules of Book III
The resolution is part of insolvency proceeding 390/2026 and declares the state of bankruptcy based on the current insolvency of the debtor, meaning it has already occurred and is not merely imminent. The court specifies that the proceeding will be processed in all its steps and components in accordance with the rules of Book III of the consolidated text of the Insolvency Law, the channel that the insolvency reform reserves for special procedures for micro-enterprises.
This abbreviated itinerary, based on the simplification of procedures and the reduction of costs, applies to debtors of small size and replaces the ordinary bankruptcy in its declaration and liquidation phase. The direction of the proceeding corresponds to Judge Eva Martínez Cuenca, head of the Albacete judicial body.
The bankruptcy is voluntary: the company itself requested the declaration, and the order is registered in the Mercantile Registry with the registration data S 8, H AB 24465, I/A A, with a registration date of October 27, 2026. Pursuant to Article 485 of the consolidated text of the Insolvency Law, the opening of the liquidation entails the preventive annotation and the provisional closure of the company’s registration sheet.
Three resolutions in a single order
The entry publishes a block of resolutions issued on the same date, September 23, 2026, all of which are not final:
- Declaration of voluntary bankruptcy and opening of the special procedure for micro-enterprises regarding Arlumi Renovables, Sociedad Limitada.
- Opening of the liquidation phase of the bankrupt company.
- Resolutions agreeing to the intervention or the suspension of the administration and disposal powers of the bankrupt party, an effect which, in the liquidation phase, implies the loss of asset management capacity by the corporate directors.
The publication in BORME No. 213 provides public notice to third parties of these rulings, which are listed as not final, and are therefore subject to appeal according to procedural law.
Company profile and background
According to the data from the registry entry itself, the company in insolvency proceedings is registered in the Mercantile Registry of Albacete, sheet AB 24465, volume 8, with CIF B91916007, and the last entry was recorded on October 27, 2026.
The company’s history in the bulletin is not new in the field of insolvency: one year earlier, the BORME no. 213, of November 6, 2025, had published the declaration of Arlumi Renovables in a state of partial insolvency for the amount of 8,089.41 euros, classified as provisional for all purposes. That entry, BORME-A-2025-213-02, referred to the same Albacete registry sheet, which places the origin of the asset deterioration at least one year before the declaration of bankruptcy.
The activity declared by the company falls within the renewable energy sector, an area of strong competition with high dependence on project financing and the collection of subsidies and premiums, factors that in recent years have strained the treasury of numerous small-scale companies in the sector.
What it implies for creditors and clients
The opening of the liquidation transfers the management of the assets of Arlumi Renovables, Sociedad Limitada to the insolvency administration appointed by the court, which must inventory assets and rights, prepare the list of creditors, and determine the order of payment according to the classes of the consolidated text of the Insolvency Law.
For creditors, the deadline to communicate their credits and the recognition regime will be adjusted to the procedures of the special process for micro-enterprises of Book III, which are significantly more compressed than in ordinary insolvency proceedings. For clients with active contracts, the declaration opens the way for contractual termination due to breach and the claim as an insolvency credit.
