The Special Delegation of Economy and Finance in Asturias has called for a public ascending auction, via the submission of sealed bids, for 35 rural properties owned by the General State Administration. The bidding will take place on October 28, 2026, at 10:15 AM in the boardroom of the Delegation’s headquarters, located at calle Gil de Jaz number 10, fifth floor, in Oviedo. Encumbrances, easements, and particularities
Most of the properties have no encumbrances or liens and their registry entry is pending, but the specifications include relevant exceptions:
- Property 1 of lot 2 is subject to a grazing right in favor of the residents of Poo and Arenas de Cabrales, according to the ruling of the Royal Chancery of Valladolid dated April 22, 1835.
- Property 3 of lot 2 is burdened with a four-meter wide right-of-way easement for agricultural use.
- The two properties of lot 12 (Murias-Teixeira) include several constructions within their boundaries that are excluded from the consolidation.
- Property 4 of lot 15 contains a well.
The urban planning conditions are those derived from municipal planning, which interested parties must verify at the corresponding town hall.
How to participate
Interested parties must provide the documentation detailed in the specifications, which can be requested from the State Heritage Service (Servicio de Patrimonio del Estado) of the Delegation of Economy and Finance in Oviedo, calle Gil de Jaz number 10, sixth floor, on the Ministry of Finance website, and on the notice boards of the town halls where the properties are located. If the bid is submitted to another registry than those provided for in Law 39/2015, of October 1, the proof of submission must be sent to the address DEHAsturiasPatrimonio@igae.hacienda.gob.es.
The call offers investors and owners in the affected areas a way to acquire rural land at very low starting prices, in many cases below 100 euros, although with small areas, access via paths, and historical encumbrances that condition their use.
