The Vega Sierra Elvira Consortium announces a vacancy for a management position

The Consortium for the Development of the Vega Sierra Elvira has approved, by Decree of its Presidency dated September 1, 2026, the guidelines for the selection of a management position as an interim civil servant serving the employment and training project UGIJAR T CUIDA. The call, processed through a competitive examination system (concurso-oposición), is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada number 173, dated September 8, 2026 (reference BOP-GRA-2026-173018).

The position, category A1 or A2 according to article 76 of the Revised Text of the Basic Statute of Public Employees, will be filled during the execution period of the project, which is developed within the territorial scope of the Consortium and is delivered in the town of Ugíjar. The program is 100% funded by the Ministry of Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment of the Regional Government of Andalusia, and its contracting is linked to the final Resolution of the Territorial Delegation of Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment of Granada dated December 29, 2025.

Purpose and characteristics of the position

The purpose of the call is to select the person who will lead the execution of the UGIJAR T CUIDA project, oriented towards social and health care for people at home (certificate SSCS0108) and training modules 1017 and 1019 of certificate SSCS0208. The process will be carried out under the principles of equality, merit, capacity, and transparency, with publicity in the BOP, on the Consortium’s website, and on its notice board.

  • Number of positions: 1, management personnel for the execution of the project.
  • Category: A1 or A2, depending on the educational level of the selected person.
  • Selection system: competitive examination (concurso-oposición), with an examination phase (70 points) and a merit phase (30 points).

Requirements and submission of applications

To participate, it will be necessary to meet the requirements of article 56 of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, including holding an official university degree, accrediting at least one year of experience in management, organization, or coordination functions in vocational training programs for employment or active employment policies, and holding a category B driver’s license.

Applications must be addressed to the Presidency of the Consortium and submitted to its General Registry or via the electronic office (vegasierraelvira.sedelectronica.es), within a period of 5 business days from the day following the publication in the BOP. They may also be submitted through the means specified in article 16 of Law 39/2015, notifying the submission to the email info@consvega.com.

Phases of the selection process

The opposition phase will consist of a single practical exercise on job-specific knowledge, with a maximum of 70 points and a time limit of 45 minutes; a minimum of 35 points is required to pass. The competition phase, which is non-eliminatory, will assess training (up to 10 points) and experience (up to 20 points), with 0.30 points for every 30 days in public entities and 0.20 in private entities.

Once the tests are completed, the Consortium will send a provisional proposal ordered by priority to the Junta de Andalucía, which will validate the fulfillment of requirements. Additionally, a job pool will be created with the successful candidates who were not selected, valid until the end of the program, to cover terminations, leaves, or resignations.

Relevance of the call

This selection reinforces the management capacity of the Consorcio Vega Sierra Elvira to execute an employment and training program fully funded by regional funds, in a social and health care field of growing demand. The call, signed in Atarfe by the president of the Consortium, Antonio José Salazar Pérez, opens a temporary public employment opportunity for management profiles with experience in active employment policies in the region.
