Por FactBox Admin

The Transport Consortium of Asturias has expanded its public employment offer corresponding to 2024 with three new positions for permanent labour staff, to be filled through open competition. The decision, adopted by its Board of Directors, is published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA) number 157, of 14 August 2026, with reference code 2026-06657.
The agreement, signed in Oviedo on 4 August 2026 by the Consortium’s Secretary General, is framed within Article 70.1 of the consolidated text of the Law of the Basic Statute of Public Employees (TREBEP), approved by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of 30 October, and in the Law of the Principality of Asturias 2/2023, of 15 March, on Public Employment. The entity, attached to the Department of Mobility, Environment and Emergency Management, was created by the Law of the Principality of Asturias 1/2002, of 11 March to coordinate cooperation between the Principality, the municipalities that voluntarily join and, where applicable, the General State Administration in the joint management of the public passenger transport service.
The Consortium’s staff complement, approved by its Board of Directors, is made up of the General Directorate and 31 positions, four of which are vacant. Three of these vacancies, of a labour nature, are included in the ordinary replacement rate for 2024 because they occurred during the first half of that year.
Three positions to strengthen the entity
The approved expansion, within the limit of the staff replacement rate, corresponds to the following permanent labour staff positions:
- Head of the Sustainable Mobility Office (1 position)
- Head of Transport Infrastructure and Signalling (1 position)
- Information Coordinator (1 position)
Open competition
The calls for the selection tests will be published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias, on the Principality’s Transparency portal (www.asturias.es), on the Consortium’s website (www.ctaconecta.com) and in «trabajastur», the portal of the Public Employment Service of the Principality of Asturias. The process will comply with the TREBEP, the Law of the Principality of Asturias 2/2023, of 15 March, and the Instructions regulating the selection procedures of the Principality’s public companies and entities, approved by Government Council Agreement of 27 April 2016 and amended by Agreement of 14 June 2018. The selection system will be open competition.
Prior reports and deadlines
The expansion has a favorable report from the General Directorate of Public Employment, issued in files CONV/2023/2493 and CONV/2024/150, and with the consent of the Staff Delegate of the Consortium. The deadline for the full execution of the offer, including the resolution of the selection processes, will be three years from its publication in the BOPA, and the agreement will take effect from the day following its publication.
The agreement, which does not exhaust the administrative route, may be appealed by filing an appeal for reversal before the Regional Minister of Mobility, Environment and Emergency Management within one month of its notification, in accordance with Article 27.2 of Law 2/1995, of 13 March, of the Principality of Asturias, on the Legal Regime of the Administration of the Principality of Asturias.
The expansion strengthens the structure of the body that coordinates regional public transport at a time of momentum for sustainable mobility, with profiles dedicated to signage, infrastructures and user information. For those seeking public employment in Asturias, these three positions open a stable route of access to the Consortium, whose calls for applications must be followed through the official channels announced.
