Por FactBox Admin

The Consortium of Commerce, Craftsmanship and Fashion of Catalonia has opened the 2026 call for grants to strengthen the competitiveness of commerce and service companies, with a maximum allocation of 600,000 euros. The resolution, signed by director Moisés Rodríguez Cantón on September 29, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya (DOGC no. 9763, October 2, 2026) under the reference CVE-DOGC-A-26272062-2026 and the code BDNS 932311. Applications may be submitted from October 5 to 30, 2026.
The call derives from the regulatory bases that govern the granting of subsidies in the fields of commerce, services, and craftsmanship, approved by the Resolution of June 22, 2026 (DOGC no. 9694, 26.6.2026). The regulatory framework is completed by Law 10/2026, of July 9, on the budget of the Generalitat de Catalunya for 2026; Legislative Decree 3/2002, of December 24, which approves the Recast Text of the Public Finance Law of Catalonia, and Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, along with the regulation that develops it (Royal Decree 887/2006).
The General Council of the Consortium approved the multi-year file for the commerce, craftsmanship, and fashion programs in sessions on April 14 and June 18, 2026. The processing is multi-year and the amount is estimated, meaning that the granting is subject to the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time the resolution is issued.

The Evaluation Commission is composed of the heads of the Trade, Fashion, and Craft areas.
Resolution, execution, and justification
The resolution of granting, inadmissibility, denial, or withdrawal must be issued and published within a maximum period of six months from the day after the publication of the call; if not notified, the application is understood to be dismissed by administrative silence. Provisional proposals and resolutions are published on the electronic notice board of the Administration of the Generalitat, which replaces individual notification.
- Execution of activities: between January 1 and December 31, 2026.

The call gives merchants, artisans, and service companies one month to access 600,000 euros intended to move activities from upper floors to street-level premises, a measure that seeks to revitalize commercial axes and municipal market stalls.
