El censo electoral publica las mesas y locales de voto de Burgos

The National Statistics Institute, through the Electoral Census Office, has published the list of districts, sections, polling stations, and polling places for all municipalities in the province of Burgos for the General Courts elections on November 29, 2026. The announcement appears in extraordinary issue number 1 of the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos on Monday, October 12, 2026, with the official reference BOPBUR-2026-04417. With this list, voters in the province can now check which polling station and location they are assigned to vote in.

The document occupies pages 1 to 24 of the gazette and is presented as a provincial table ordered alphabetically by municipality, from Abajas to Zuñeda, followed by a final block of municipalities and local entities. The signature, in Burgos, on October 7, 2026, corresponds to the provincial delegate, Félix Ángel Cuevas Carbonell.

The publication arrives less than seven weeks before the election date and practically replaces any previous consultation: it is the official instrument that establishes the electoral division of the provincial territory for November 29.

How to read the table

  • Each row identifies the municipality, the district, the section, the polling station, the initial letter and the final letter of the census assigned to that station, the polling place, the address of the location, and the town.
  • The station letter (A, B, C…) is combined with the alphabetical range of voters: station “U” with letters A-Z groups the entire census of the section into a single polling center.
  • Examples: in Abajas, the single station (U, A-Z) votes at the Town Hall, carretera de Villarcayo 66; in Adrada de Haza, at Las Escuelas, calle Las Escuelas 8; in Aguas Cándidas, at the Teleclub on carretera de Aguas Cándidas 15, in Río Quintanilla.

The large municipalities

  • Burgos capital is listed with nine districts (01 to 09) and dozens of sections. Among the assigned locations are C.P. Río Arlanzón (calle Vitoria 33), I.E.S. Cardenal López de Mendoza (plaza Luis Martín Santos 1), Colegio La Salle (avenida del Cid Campeador 23), the Escuela Politécnica Superior (avenida Cantabria 48), the Centro Cívico Capiscol (calle Fundación Sonsoles Ballvé 1), and the Centro Cívico Vista Alegre (calle Victoria Balfé 32).
  • Aranda de Duero is divided into three districts (01 to 03), with C.P. Fernán González (glorieta Rosales 4), Colegio Santa María (avenida General Gutiérrez 5), Polideportivo Chelva (avenida Murillo s/n), and the Centro Intergeneracional Santa Catalina (calle Hernán Cortés 5).
  • Miranda de Ebro has four districts (01 to 04), with I.E.S. Fray Pedro de Urbina (avenida República Argentina 2), C.P. Anduva (calle San Agustín 41), C.P. Altamira (calle Alfonso VI 62), I.E.S. Montes Obarenes (calle Francia 19), and C.P. Cervantes (ronda del Ferrocarril 101).

District capitals and hamlets

  • With several districts appear Lerma (01 and 02), Medina de Pomar (01 to 05), Briviesca (01 to 04), Villarcayo de Merindad de Castilla la Vieja (01 to 03), Valle de Mena (01 to 03), Roa (01 and 02) and Villadiego (01 and 02).
  • With a single section and a single polling station appear, among others, Belorado, Salas de los Infantes, Sasamón, Melgar de Fernamental, Espinosa de los Monteros, Oña, Pradoluengo, Condado de Treviño, Cardeñadijo, Cardeñajimeno, Ibeas de Juarros, Quintanar de la Sierra, Villagonzalo Pedernales and Villalbilla de Burgos.
  • Pedanian localities and minor local entities also have their own polling stations: Aguilera (Aranda de Duero), Cortes, Villimar and Villatoro (Burgos), Las Machorras (Espinosa de los Monteros), Nava, Sopeñano and Artieta (Valle de Mena), Quintanadueñas and Sotopalacios, Sedano, Rioseras and Lastras de Teza.

Inquiry and effects

  • The list allows for checking the exact venue and address before election day, as well as verifying the section and district listed on the census card.
  • The smallest municipalities concentrate voting in municipal facilities: town halls, council houses, schools, medical clinics, social centers and multi-purpose halls.

The publication of this list is the step that turns the census into useful information for the voter: without it, it is not possible to know with certainty which polling station to attend on November 29. For the 371 municipalities and local entities of the province, the bulletin establishes from today the definitive map of polling stations and venues, so that any voter can locate their voting point with the reference BOPBUR-2026-04417.
