The BOP publishes the polling stations for all municipalities in Lleida
Por FactBox Admin

The Official Gazette of the Province of Lleida publishes this Monday, October 12, the list of electoral sections, venues, and polling stations that will be used in the elections to the General Courts in November 2026 in all municipalities of the province. It is issued by the Provincial Delegation of the Electoral Census Office in Lleida, dependent on the National Statistics Institute (INE) and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise, and occupies pages 1 to 15 of issue number 194 of the gazette, edict 8411, with the official reference CVE BOP-2026_0_194_8411. Electors have six days from the date of publication to file claims against the delimitation before the Provincial Electoral Board.
The list is made public under article 24.2 of Organic Law 5/1985, on the general electoral regime, which requires the publication of sections, venues, and polling stations before each call. The document was signed by the provincial delegate of the Electoral Census Office, Mónica Arias Arias, on October 7, 2026, and bears the entity seal of the Provincial Council of Lleida; the text is bilingual, in Catalan and Spanish.
The list alphabetically orders all municipalities in the province and, for each, indicates the district, section, subsection, table, venue, address, and postal code. It includes both large municipalities such as Lleida, Balaguer, Tàrrega, Mollerussa, Cervera, La Seu d’Urgell, Vielha e Mijaran, or Almacelles, as well as small nuclei and decentralized municipal entities.

Six days to claim and five to resolve
The text establishes two deadlines:
- Electors may file claims against the delimitation during the six days following publication, that is, until October 18, 2026.
- The Provincial Electoral Board must issue a final ruling on these claims within a period of five days.
The document also contains an internal discrepancy: although the header and title refer to the elections to the General Courts in November 2026, the paragraph explaining the legal basis mentions the “European Parliament Elections,” a drafting error that is repeated in both linguistic versions.
The publication is the step that provides the province’s electors with the definitive information on where they must vote and opens the period to correct delimitation errors before the election date. Any elector who detects that their polling station or table does not correspond to their address may contact the Provincial Electoral Board within the deadline.
