The Soria City Council appoints four General Administration technicians

The Soria City Council has appointed four career civil servants in the category of General Administration Technician, thereby consolidating the municipal workforce following the corresponding selection process. The decision, adopted by the Local Government Board through agreements dated July 24 and August 7, 2026, is made public in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria number 96, dated August 19, 2026, page 2813.

The announcement, signed on August 14, 2026, by the mayor, Javier Antón Cacho, is processed under file 9940/2025 and is published in compliance with Article 25 of Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10, and Article 62.1.b) of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30, which approves the Revised Text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee.

The new civil servants

The four appointed candidates join the General Administration Scale, Technical Subscale, Group A, Subgroup A1, with the category of General Administration Technician:

• María Noelia Liso Cruz
• Verónica Nieto Puente
• Neila Tejedor Palomar

Regulatory framework and selection process

The appointment is based on the basic regulations for access to the public service: Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10, which regulates the entry of personnel into the service of the General State Administration and the filling of job positions, and Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30, which approves the Revised Text of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee.

The publication in the official gazette provides publicity to the administrative act and allows the interested parties to know the final resolution of the selection process, which culminates with the taking of office of the new technicians in the municipal workforce.

With these four additions, the Soria City Council reinforces its general administration technical structure, a key body for the management of municipal services and the legal and administrative advisory of the corporation.
