The General Directorate of Labor, under the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, has registered and published the III Collective Agreement for Cabin Crew of EasyJet Airline Spain, Branch in Spain, by resolution dated August 12, 2026. The text appears in the Official State Gazette (BOE) number 206, dated August 22, 2026, section III, page 116151, with official reference BOE-A-2026-18028.
The agreement, with registration code 90103320012019, was signed on March 26, 2026, by the company management and the union sections of USO (Unión Sindical Obrera) and SITCPLA (Independent Union of Airline Cabin Crew), and was corrected by agreement on July 14, 2026. The resolution, signed by the Director General of Labor, María Nieves González García, orders its registration in the Registry of Collective Agreements and its publication in the BOE.
A sector-wide agreement effective until 2028
The agreement is configured as a sector-wide collective agreement, in accordance with article 84.2 of the revised text of the Workers’ Statute, and affects all cabin crew hired in Spain to provide services for the company. Its territorial scope covers all bases and workplaces that EasyJet has established or may establish in Spanish territory.
- Validity: from March 1, 2025, to August 31, 2028 (three years and six months).
- Tacitly extendable for twelve-month periods if no express notice of termination is given at least two months in advance.
- Only personnel with the necessary certificate and qualifications may perform cabin crew duties.
Salary tables and seniority scale
The agreement introduces a remuneration structure articulated in base salary levels linked to seniority, with the aim of recognizing the experience and tenure of the cabin crew. The gross annual salary consists of the basic monthly salary and two extraordinary bonuses (13th and 14th months), and is paid in twelve monthly installments.
- Level 1 (L1): from the 2nd to the 5th year, 3% increase over the base salary.
- Level 2 (L2): from the 6th to the 10th year, 6% increase.
- Level 3 (L3): from the 11th to the 15th year, 9% increase.
- Level 4 (L4): from the 16th to the 20th year, 12% increase.
- Level 5 (L5): from the 21st year onwards, 15% increase.
The payment annex tables set, for example, a gross annual salary of 12,660 euros for the initial level (NECC) and 17,677 euros for level L1 in permanent fixed contracts 12/12, with nominal sector payments and per-flight payments (WFLY) differentiated for cabin crew and purser.
Monitoring, reconciliation, and new protocols
A Joint Commission for the monitoring and interpretation of the agreement is created, composed of a maximum of five representatives from the company and five from the social side (three from USO and two from SITCPLA), which must be established within a maximum period of 30 days from the signing. The text also regulates paid and unpaid leave, reductions in working hours for legal guardianship, and adaptations for work-life balance.
The parties commit to negotiating, between September 15 and December 15, 2026, an Action Protocol for catastrophes and adverse meteorological phenomena and a set of measures for the real and effective equality of LGBTI people, in compliance with Royal Decree 1026/2024.
The publication of the III agreement consolidates the labor framework for the hundreds of cabin crew members that EasyJet employs in its Spanish bases, guaranteeing salary tables revisable by seniority, working hours, and leave agreed upon with union representation. Its validity until August 2028 provides stability to a key group in the aviation sector at a time of strong passenger transport activity.
