Dozón aproba subvencións nominativas por 13.000 euros para asociacións e colectivos locais

The City Council of Dozón has definitively approved the modification of the execution bases of the 2026 municipal Budget to include five grants with nominative allocation, for a joint amount of 13,000 euros. The agreement was adopted by the Plenary in an ordinary session on August 31, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) on Monday, October 5, 2026, number 191, under file 183/2026. The modification affects execution base number 30, section 6, and no objections were registered during the public exhibition period.

The publication responds to article 169.1 of the Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the revised text of the Law regulating local finances. The file was initially approved by the Plenary and exhibited to the public for fifteen business days via an announcement in the BOPPO and on the City Council’s notice board, for the purpose of submitting claims by interested parties. As none were submitted, the agreements were elevated to definitive.

The document is signed by the mayor-president, Adolfo Campos Vázquez, and incorporates the secure verification code 4P9XRL72U9IB8IU1. The agreement also provides for sending a copy to the State Administration and to the competent body of the Autonomous Community.

Distribution of nominative grants

The modification of base 30, section 6, establishes that the grants with nominative allocation in the Budget are those destined for the following entities, with the detailed amounts:

  • Asociación de Mulleres Virxe da Pena de Francia: 2,000.00 euros.
  • Asociación de Mulleres Ruliñas: 2,000.00 euros.
  • Comisións Festas Tradicionais e Populares Parroquias do Municipio: 5,000.00 euros.
  • Sociedade de Caza de Dozón: 2,000.00 euros.
  • Sociedade Deportiva Dozón: 2,000.00 euros.

The total amount of the five allocations amounts to 13,000 euros. The largest item corresponds to the commissions for traditional and popular festivals of the municipality’s parishes, with 5,000 euros, while the two women’s associations, the hunting society, and the sports club receive 2,000 euros each.

Profile of the beneficiaries

The beneficiary entities cover different areas of the municipality’s associative life. On one hand, two women’s associations —Asociación de Mulleres Virxe da Pena de Francia and Asociación de Mulleres Ruliñas—, linked to the parish of Pena de Francia and to the municipal district as a whole. On the other, the Comisións Festas Tradicionais e Populares Parroquias do Municipio, which groups the organization of neighborhood celebrations.

Completing the list are the Sociedade de Caza de Dozón, dedicated to hunting activities, and the Sociedade Deportiva Dozón, oriented towards sports practice. All of them are expressly identified in the plenary agreement, which makes them direct recipients of the budget allocation without the need for a public tender.

Processing and effects

The procedure followed was that of initial approval, public exhibition for fifteen business days, and elevation to definitive status as no claims were registered. The publication in the BOPPO is intended for the general knowledge of the agreement, in accordance with article 169.1 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5.

The modification does not alter the global volume of the 2026 municipal Budget, but rather specifies execution base number 30 regarding nominative subsidies. This provides express legal coverage for the transfers to the entities, which are thus fixed in the current budget document.

Impact for the municipality

The definitive approval guarantees the five entities of Dozón the receipt of the amounts assigned during the 2026 fiscal year, allowing them to plan their annual activities with secured municipal financing. The agreement reflects the Council’s support for the local associative fabric, from the neighborhood movement and parish festivals to sports and hunting activities, and closes the processing of file 183/2026 without modifications relative to the initial proposal.
