Provincial Council of Jaén publishes the provisional list for 35 administrative positions

The Provincial Council of Jaén has made public the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the provision of 35 career civil servant positions in Group C, Subgroup C.1, General Administration Scale, Administrative Subscale, through the open competitive examination system. The list is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Jaén number 179, dated September 15, 2026, via Resolution no. 2963, dated September 11, 2026, issued by the Deputy for Human Resources.

The resolution, signed by Ms. Pilar Parra Ruiz, in exercise of the powers delegated by Resolution no. 268 of June 9, 2026, is adopted once the deadline for submitting applications has ended. The announced positions are part of the public employment offer of the Provincial Council of Jaén and its autonomous bodies corresponding to the years 2024, 2025, and 2026.

Framework of the call

The regulatory bases of the process were published in three official gazettes: the BOP of Jaén no. 97, dated May 21, 2026; the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA) no. 104, dated June 2, 2026; and the Official State Gazette (BOE) no. 142, dated June 11, 2026. The procedure is processed under file ERH51-2026/4187 and is governed by the Fifth Base of the call.

The provisional list distinguishes between two participation shifts:

• Open shift, containing the majority of the admitted applicants.
• Disability shift, with a specific quota of reserved positions.

Correction period

Excluded or omitted applicants may correct the deficiencies within a period of ten business days, counted from the day following the publication in the BOP, in accordance with Article 68 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. Corrections shall be submitted through the Electronic Office of the Provincial Council of Jaén.

The causes for exclusion, all of which are correctable, are listed in a code of reasons:

• 1 DNI not provided.
• 2 Expired DNI.
• 3 Incomplete DNI (front side only).
• 5 Required qualification not provided.
• 6 Incomplete degree (front side only).
• 9 Corresponding fee not paid.
• 10 Large family status not accredited.
• 11 Job seeker status not accredited.
• 32 Requirements for unemployment fee reduction not met.
• 33 Disability certificate not provided.
• 34 Expired large family card.
• 46 Degree equivalence not accredited.
• 54 Certificate or report pending review.

Relevance of the process

The publication of this provisional list represents a decisive step in one of the largest selection processes in the province, as it concerns 35 administrative positions in the open entry category, with a high number of applicants. Once claims and corrections have been resolved, the provisional list may be upgraded to definitive, at which point the date, place, and time for the competitive examination phase will be set.
