Provincial Council of Albacete: public information on the electronic administration ordinance

The Provincial Council of Albacete has initially approved the Ordinance regulating the electronic administration of the provincial institution and its municipalities, a text that is now subject to public consultation for thirty days. The agreement was adopted by the Plenary in an extraordinary session on September 2, 2026, and the announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete No. 108, dated September 16, 2026, in the third section (Local Administration), page 5. The regulation affects all city councils in the province and citizens who process their files through the electronic office.

The announcement, issued by the Secretariat Service of the Provincial Council of Albacete, specifies that the initial approval took place in the first call and that this thus complies with the provisions of Article 49 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, in relation to Article 56 of Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18, which approves the consolidated text of the legal provisions in force regarding the Local Regime.

The ordinance regulates the electronic administration of the Council and the municipalities of the province, an area in which the provincial institution provides support to the city councils through the electronic administration platform Sedipualba, used by the province’s councils for the processing of procedures and the publication of their announcements.

Public information for thirty days

The text is open for public information and hearing of interested parties for a period of thirty days for the submission of claims and suggestions, in accordance with the procedure for the approval of local ordinances and regulations provided for in the local regime legislation.

What happens if there are no allegations

If no claim or suggestion is submitted within the indicated period, the agreement will be understood as definitively adopted, as stated in the announcement itself. That is, the initial approval becomes final without the need for a new plenary pronouncement.

Otherwise, the allegations submitted must be resolved before the final approval of the text.
