Danish estate administrator seeks heir Torben Ring last traced to Ukraine

The administrator of the estate of the late Bjerre Ring has published an arveproklama in Statstidende on 15 October 2026 seeking the heir Torben Ring, born 14 October 1967, who emigrated from Denmark and is now reported to be in Ukraine at an unknown address. The notice, carried in the Dødsboer section under reference S13102026-319, was signed in Svendborg on 13 October 2026 by the lawyer Julie Skaarup Bergstrøm. It is the only published route by which the heir can be located and claim his inheritance.

Statstidende is Denmark’s official gazette for public announcements, issued by Civilstyrelsen under Justitsministeriet. An arveproklama is the formal call on possible heirs to come forward in a deceased estate. In the standard wording used in notices of this type, anyone who considers himself or herself an heir — including statutory heirs and anyone aware of a will — is summoned to report and document their right of inheritance within eight weeks of publication.

The estate concerns Bjerre Ring, who lived at Kildehaven 30, 5970 Ærøskøbing, and whose CPR number is 080532-1563. His date of death is recorded as 10 June 2026. The estate is handled through the probate court Retten i Svendborg under case number SK 152/2026, and a separate proklama published in Statstidende on 16 September 2026 confirmed that the estate is not being administered as insolvent under section 69 of the Danish administration of estates act (dødsboskifteloven).

A trail that runs from Copenhagen to Vienna and stops in Ukraine

The notice sets out the last known traces of Torben Ring:

  • Last known address in Denmark: Veksøvej 43, 2700 København, with the contact email temp1@torbenring.com, which dates from 2014 and may be outdated.
  • Emigration to Austria, to the address Kleine Neugasse 13/1/22, A-1050 Vienna, with the associated email addresses mail@torbenring.com and Shop1@torbenring.com.
  • Current whereabouts: reportedly in Ukraine, at an address that is unknown.

The administrator states that Torben Ring is an heir in the estate of Bjerre Ring. The notice gives no further detail on his identity documents, his family relationship to the deceased, or the size of the estate.

Where the heir must respond

The notice names a single point of contact, both for the heir himself and for anyone able to help locate him:

  • Advokat Julie Skaarup Bergstrøm, Østre Havnevej 2, 4, 5700 Svendborg.
  • Telephone: 62210101.
  • Journal number: 66136 HP.
  • Place and date of signature: Svendborg, 13 October 2026.

Claims in the estate are to be filed through the digital portal Skifteportalen at www.minskiftesag.dk, as stated in the estate’s proklama of 16 September 2026.

Why the notice matters

Because the heir’s address in Ukraine is unknown, the announcement in Statstidende is the only channel through which the estate can reach him, and the only way he can learn that an inheritance is waiting and that a deadline is running. For readers, the notice is also a reminder that Danish estates are settled in public: names, addresses, case numbers and contact details of administrators are published openly, and an heir who has moved abroad can lose his claim simply by not reading the gazette in time.
