Their intervention requires formal accreditation before the courts. In an edict from the Third Civil and Commercial Court of San Miguel, published on August 13, 2026, a “simple copy of the credential of the proposed Attachment Officer” was required as a document attached to the process, confirming that the credential derived from this type of agreement is a requirement to act in the files.
Recent Precedents from the Same Section
The Professional Investigation Section had already published resolutions regarding the same position this year. Agreement No. AE-06-2026, disseminated on August 31, 2026, modified the agreement of July 24, 2017, which authorized Karina Elizabeth García Cueva, stating that as of July 24, 2026, she would practice under the name Karina Elizabeth García de Alvarado, due to a change in marital status.
In the same issue of the Official Gazette dated September 14, 2026, agreements 1529-D, 1534-D, 1543-D, 1552-D, 1554-D, 1565-D, 1589-D, 1592-D, 1597-D, 1607-D, 1608-D, 1617-D, 1620-D, 1627-D, and 1641-D, which authorize the practice of the legal profession in all its branches, were also published, as well as agreements 1222-D, 1226-D, and 1722-D, which modify previous authorizations in the practice of law and the public function of the notary.
The qualification of a new Attachment Officer expands the roster of assistants available to the civil and commercial courts of the country.
