Coosur registers its 14th collective agreement with 3 percent increases

The Official State Gazette (BOE) number 208, dated August 25, 2026, publishes in its section III the XIV collective agreement of the company Aceites del Sur-Coosur, SA, following its registration by the General Directorate of Labor of the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy. The text, which establishes the labor, salary, and representation conditions of the workforce, was signed on May 21, 2026, and corrected by agreement on July 28, 2026.
The resolution, signed on August 12, 2026, by the Director General of Labor, María Nieves González García, orders the registration of the agreement in the Registry of Collective Agreements and provides for its publication in the BOE. Scope and Validity
The agreement applies to all workplaces of Aceites del Sur-Coosur, SA (NIF A-80245129) within Spanish territory, and affects all personnel with permanent, permanent-seasonal, or fixed-term contracts. Its validity extends from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2029, and it shall be automatically terminated at the end of the period.
The economic effects for the years 2025 and 2026 will enter into force two months after publication in the BOE, retroactively to January 1 of each year. For the monitoring of the agreement, a Joint Commission of six members is established, three for each party, with arbitration functions and a period of five working days to resolve the issues submitted to it.
Classification and Remuneration
The agreement establishes six professional groups, from Group I (management) to Group VI (newly hired personnel), with probationary periods between two and six months depending on the group. The salary structure consists of a group base salary, a personal salary supplement, and position supplements.
- Salary review: annual increase of 3% for each year of validity, with a guarantee clause that matches the CPI if it exceeds the agreed increase.
- Night shift supplement: 25% of the group base salary for shifts between 22:00 and 6:00.
- Shift supplement: 5.50 euros per day worked on the morning or afternoon shift.
- Saturday and Sunday supplement: 35 euros per day (regular) and 40 euros (alternating).
- Lack of rest supplement: 3.30 euros per day worked.
- Allowances: breakfast €4.00, lunch €16.00, dinner €15.00, lodging €30.00, and €0.26/km with own vehicle.
Working Hours, Vacations, and Social Action
The standard working day will be 40 hours per week, with an annual total of 1,784 hours of effective work for 2025 and 2026, and 1,776 hours for 2027, 2028, and 2029. Intensive working hours are planned for Fridays and during the months of July and August, as well as the possibility of teleworking for personnel with more than one year of seniority.
- Vacations: 22 working days, with a minimum of 30 calendar days, preferably between June 15 and September 15.
- Overtime: remunerated at 135% from Monday to Friday, 160% on Saturdays and Sundays, and 175% on holidays.
- Leave: 15 calendar days for marriage or civil partnership, 5 working days for serious illness of relatives, and 3 days for change of residence.
- Social action: housing loans up to €6,010.12, personal advances up to €3,000, study grants, and collective accident insurance with coverage of €60,000.
The agreement also incorporates a protocol against discriminatory harassment based on sexual orientation, identity, or gender expression, and commitments to effective equality between women and men in selection, promotion, and remuneration.
