Designation and mandate
The judicial members were designated by the Governing Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Madrid, which held a session on October 8, 2026, and the presidency is elected during the constitutive session in accordance with articles 11.2 and 14.3 of the LOREG. The Aranjuez minutes specify that the mandate of the zonal boards will conclude one hundred days after the elections, in application of Agreement 625/2015 of the Central Electoral Board and of the Permanent Commission of the General Council of the Judiciary of March 16, 2023.
With the constitution of these bodies, the structure that will administer the scrutiny in the Community of Madrid is formally open. For voters, the composition published in the bulletin determines to whom claims regarding the census, polling stations, and results are presented, and marks the effective start of the electoral calendar leading up to November 29.
