Chipiona announces specific competition for 17 municipal positions

The Chipiona City Council has approved the guidelines for the provision via specific competition of 17 job positions, including career civil servants and permanent contractual staff. The call, signed by the Councilor for Personnel, Laura Román González, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz number 166, dated August 28, 2026, and opens a period of ten business days for submitting applications.
The two decrees, with references No. 270.960 and No. 270.965, were issued on August 14, 2026, under article 21.1.g) of Law 7/1985, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime. The procedure is governed by article 127 of Law 5/2023, of June 7, on the Public Service of Andalusia, and by Decree 51/2025, of February 24, which regulates the planning and organization of public employment.
Career Civil Servant Positions
Nine career civil servant positions are announced, group C1, General Administration scale, all of them as Head of Department:
- Head of Tax Department
- Head of Registry Department
- Head of Statistics Department
- Head of Municipal Services Department
- Head of Planning Department
- Head of Housing Department
- Head of Agriculture Department
- Head of Development Department
- General Manager and Coordinator of Municipal Services
Permanent Contractual Staff Positions
Additionally, eight permanent contractual staff positions are announced, including:
- Planning Manager
- Municipal Facilities Cleaning Supervisor (2 positions)
- Home Care Service Supervisor
- Municipal Electrical Services Foreman
- Assistant Head of RTV News
- Municipal Services Painting Foreman
- Parks and Gardens Foreman
Requirements and Evaluation System
To participate, candidates must be in active service, have a minimum of two years of experience in the same subgroup or classification group, and meet the position requirements set out in the Job Position List. The specific competition consists of two phases: the general phase, which accounts for 45% and evaluates training and experience, and the specific phase, accounting for 55%, based on a personal interview valued up to 55 points, with a minimum of 30. The minimum total score for award is set at 50 points.
Evaluation Commission
The Evaluation Commission will be chaired by María Luisa González Ganaza, with Sandra María Antón García as secretary, and will include members such as Vicente Muñoz-Polanco Vidal, Antonio Pedrosa Query, and Miguel Ángel Priego Mellado, among others. Applications may be submitted through the City Council’s electronic office (sede.aytochipiona.es) or at the General Registry, within ten business days starting from the day following the publication in the gazette.
The call for applications affects public employees and candidates from the province, who may apply for administrative and technical responsibility positions in the coastal municipality. The result of the competition will be displayed at the Town Hall premises and on its electronic headquarters for ten business days, during which contestants may file claims.
