Castilla y León assigns destination to a stabilized forestry technical engineer

The Vice-Ministry of Public Administrations, Institutional Relations and Citizen Services of the Ministry of the Presidency has assigned a destination to the candidate who passed the selective process for access, via the competition system, to the functional competence of Middle Grade Degree Holder, specialty Forestry Technical Engineer, within the framework of the stabilization of temporary employment. The resolution, signed on August 18, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León number 166, of August 27, 2026, pages 6 to 8.

The assignment is part of the temporary employment stabilization process provided for in Law 20/2021, of December 28, on urgent measures for the reduction of temporality in public employment. The process was convened by Resolution of December 23, 2022, and the complementary list of candidates who passed it was approved and published by Resolution of June 15, 2026, which offered the job positions.

The assigned person and their destination

The resolution assigns the position to the candidate Rosa María Cadenas Fernández (NIF *0234), order number 49, open entry, who has proven compliance with the required requirements. The destination corresponds to the organic unit of the Ministry of Environment, Housing and Territorial Planning, specifically the Territorial Environment Service of León.

Contract and incorporation deadlines

The candidate must formalize their employment contract within 10 business days from the publication of the resolution, before the Secretary General of the Ministry or the competent body of the destination autonomous organization. Incorporation into the position will occur 20 business days counting from the day following the publication, a period that may be extended if the position is occupied by a worker with a fixed-term contract, provided that said contract cannot be extended.

The contract will be formalized in writing with a probationary period of three months of actual work, during which the admission will be understood as provisional. This will not be required if the worker has performed the same functions in this Administration for an equal or longer period. After the probationary period, the worker will become permanent, counting for all purposes.

Regulatory framework and appeals

The resolution is issued in exercise of the delegation granted in section two b) of Order PRE/1367/2022, of October 3, and in accordance with the new professional categories of the current Collective Agreement for the contractual staff of the General Administration of the Community of Castilla y León (published on June 21, 2023). The signature corresponds to the vice-counselor José Miguel de Elías Hernández.

Against the resolution, which exhausts the administrative route, interested parties may file a claim before the Social Section of the Court of First Instance of Valladolid within two months, in accordance with Law 36/2011, of October 10, regulating the Social Jurisdiction.

The award consolidates the Environment staff in León by converting a professional who provided services on a temporary basis into a permanent employee, in line with the objective of Law 20/2021 to reduce temporary employment in the public sector. For readers, it represents one more step in the stabilization of the Community’s forestry services, guaranteeing the continuity of key technical functions in land management.
