Canal Extremadura convoca bolsa de trabajo de Técnico Electrónico por concurso-oposición

The Corporación Extremeña de Medios Audiovisuales has published the extraordinary public call to establish a job bank for Electronic Technician at the Sociedad Pública de Radiodifusión y Televisión Extremeña, SAU (Canal Extremadura), through a competitive examination system. The resolution, signed on September 1, 2026, by the Director General, Dámaso Castellote Caballero, appears in the Diario Oficial de Extremadura number 174, dated September 9, 2026, with official reference 2026062277.

The call is issued in accordance with the Board of Directors of the entity, whose agreement was obtained on December 16, 2025, and is supported by the principles of equality, merit, capacity, and publicity advocated by article 30.4 of Law 3/2008, of June 16, regulating public enterprises. Its objective is to meet non-permanent personnel needs through the temporary provision of vacant positions, in accordance with the agreement reached with the legal representation of the workers.

Requirements and submission of applications

Persons with Spanish nationality or nationality of a European Union member state, over 16 years of age, with the required qualification and a category B driving license, may apply. The required qualification is the Higher Level Cycle of the Professional Family of Electricity and Electronics, or equivalent qualifications in telecommunications or electronic engineering, with the position falling under professional group III.

  • Applications must be submitted exclusively in digital format to the email bolsaempleo@canalextremadura.es.
  • The deadline is 20 calendar days from the day following the publication in the DOE.
  • Examination fees amount to €11.56, payable to the Corporation’s account at Unicaja Banco, SA (IBAN ES88 2103 8559 9900 3000 1308).
  • There are 50% discounts for unemployed persons and exemptions for disabilities equal to or greater than 33%, victims of terrorism, large families, and victims of gender-based violence.

Selection system

The process is structured in two phases with a maximum score of 100 points: the examination phase (theoretical test) is worth 60 points and the competition phase (assessment of merits) is worth 40 points.

The theoretical test is a multiple-choice format, with 60 questions (10 of which are reserve questions) and a maximum time of 50 minutes. Each correct answer adds 1.2 points, with no penalty for errors, and a minimum of 30 points is required to pass. In the competition phase, services rendered within the Corporation itself, in public television and radio, and in other audiovisual media are valued, with scales of 0.34, 0.29, and 0.25 points per full month, respectively.

Selection Committee and operation of the job bank

The Selection Committee will be chaired by Mr. Antonio María Ridruejo Cabezas, Corporate Director, with Mr. Francisco Reyes Torremocha and Ms. Eva López Gago as members and Mr. Jose Francisco Navas Pérez as secretary. In the event of a tie, priority will be given to the underrepresented gender in the category, in accordance with the entity’s II Equality Plan.

The resulting pool will be used automatically to fill temporary vacancies, and the selected person may choose the position from among the active vacancies. Contracts will be governed by the II Collective Agreement of the Corporation and the Public Broadcasting and Television Company of Extremadura, published in DOE no. 127, of July 3, 2015.

This call represents a public employment opportunity for electronic technicians in the region, in an audiovisual sector undergoing full technological transformation toward HD, UHD formats, and IP transmission. Interested parties may consult the rules and their annexes on the Canal Extremadura website, where the lists of admitted candidates, the test dates, and the scores will also be published.
