Canal abre en Cáceres la selección de un Encargado de Abastecimiento

Canal de Isabel II, S.A., M.P. announces a selective process for free appointment to fill a position as Supply Supervisor at its Cáceres delegation. The guidelines are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres number 0213, corresponding to Friday, November 6, 2026, in Section VI of private announcements, with the official reference BOP-2026-5201. The announcement is signed by the company’s delegate in Cáceres, José Luis Castaño Cabañas, and is accompanied by the annex with the specific guidelines identified as GC0092026.

An essential service concessionaire

Canal de Isabel II, S.A., M.P. acts in the city of Cáceres as the concessionaire for the integrated water cycle, and the guidelines remind that the provisions regarding personnel subrogation in the current state collective agreement for the integrated water cycle are applicable. Once the concession ends, the new awardee must subrogate the personnel from the Cáceres work centers, and the employment relationship will terminate upon the end of the contract or the aforementioned subrogation.

The call is governed entirely by these guidelines and not by the company’s general guidelines for new hires. The position will be based in the Cáceres delegation, with no possibility of transfer to the Community of Madrid or other territorial areas where the company operates.

On the same date and section, a twin call is published for a position as Treatment and Intake Supervisor (BOP-2026-5200), which reinforces the renewal of middle management within the service.

Position characteristics and remuneration

The descriptive sheet in the annex sets the labor conditions:

  • Title: Supply Supervisor, a single position, based in the Cáceres delegation.
  • Working day: mornings from Monday to Friday, with on-call duty.
  • Professional group: 3A, with an indefinite full-time contract or an indefinite replacement contract and a three-month probationary period.
  • Remuneration: 24,355.00 gross euros per year in 14 payments, plus the variable remuneration of the position.

  • Additional requirements: valid Class B driver’s license and not having been dismissed for disciplinary reasons from Canal de Isabel II-Cáceres.

The functions include supervising and controlling the maintenance, conservation, repair, and operation of the distribution and adduction network, executing maneuvers, coordinating breakdown repairs, planning operational tasks, inspecting third-party works, writing reports, training the operators under their charge, and acting as a preventive resource, with quarterly health and safety meetings.

Twenty-day deadline and three eliminatory tests

Applications may be submitted from the date of the announcement until 23:59 hours on November 17, 2026, by email to rrhh@canalcaceres.es or at the company’s delegation, located at avenida Virgen de Guadalupe number 43 (El Perú building), first floor, 10001 Cáceres. Required documentation includes DNI or NIE, academic degree, a work history report issued within the previous 45 days, a detailed curriculum vitae, and a responsible declaration.

The process is distributed over a maximum of 19 points:

  • Theoretical-practical test: 100-question test with 10 reserve questions, 2 hours and 30 minutes, up to 10 points and a minimum of 5 to pass.
  • Professional experience: up to 4 points, at a rate of 0.060 points per month worked in position-related functions at Canal de Isabel II-Cáceres, 0.035 per month in other water cycle entities, and 0.025 per month in different functions within the same company.
  • Potential and competency evaluation: eliminatory interview for up to 5 points, with a minimum score of 2.5.
  • Waiting list: those who pass the tests without securing a position will remain on a preferential list for 18 months from the final resolution.

The qualifying board is presided over by Carlos Fondón Zancada, with María Fernanda Lorenzo Galán as substitute; the members are José Antonio López Lara and Miguel Ángel Moreno Amado, with José Luis Castaño Cabañas and Sonia Pérez Cebadero as substitutes. The lists will be published on the company’s employment page, with three business days to rectify exclusions and two to appeal grades.

Impact for readers

The call offers permanent middle-management employment in an essential service such as water supply, with a starting salary of 24,355 gross euros per year and a syllabus closely linked to the local network. The deadline is short—ten business days from publication—and the 18-month waiting list makes the process a long-term access route to the staff of the Cáceres concessionaire.
