Caldes de Montbui appoints three career officials after their internships

The Caldes de Montbui City Council has made public, through three edicts published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on September 1, 2026, the appointment of three career civil servants after they successfully completed their internship period. The appointments, signed by Mayor Isidre Pineda Moncusí, consolidate positions within the Corporation’s civil service staff.

The three mayoral decrees, issued between July 17 and 21, 2026, resolve the completion of the internship period and the definitive appointment of the candidates, in accordance with the reports from the corresponding area heads. The new civil servants are assigned to job positions within the general and special administration scales of the municipal staff.

Three appointments by mayoral decree

The three appointments are formalized through separate mayoral decrees and are published with the following official references:

• Sebastian Arrabal Aguilar, career civil servant, subordinate staff, general administration scale, subordinate sub-scale, group AP, assigned to the job position SP025 Janitor of the Montbui School (mayoral decree 1541/2026, of July 17; CVE 202610129120).
• Mireia Anglada Recasens, career civil servant, general administration scale, technical sub-scale, medium-level technician, group A, subgroup A2, assigned to the job position SP037 Trade and Consumption Technician (mayoral decree 1580/2026, of July 21; CVE 202610129133).
• Marta Serrano Vila, career civil servant, special administration scale, technical sub-scale, senior technician, group A, subgroup A1, assigned to the job position ST025 Architect (mayoral decree 1560/2026, of July 20; CVE 202610129130).

Internship periods completed

The three processes culminated with the successful completion of the internship period, which was evaluated by the Corporation’s technical services:

• Mr. Arrabal Aguilar completed an internship period of two months, according to the report from the head of the Personal Services area.
• Ms. Anglada Recasens completed an internship period of six months, also with a favorable report from the head of the Personal Services area.
• Ms. Serrano Vila completed an internship period of six months, with a report from the head of the Territorial Services area.

Consolidation of the municipal staff

With these appointments, the Caldes de Montbui City Council consolidates three positions in its civil service staff, which are now permanently occupied by career civil servants. The affected job positions cover diverse profiles, from general administration and the subordinate sub-scale to specialized technical roles in trade and consumption and architecture.

The edicts, signed in Caldes de Montbui between July 21 and 23, 2026, are published to provide official publicity to the appointments and guarantee their legal effectiveness before the citizenry.

Publication in the official bulletin provides legal certainty to the appointments and closes the selection process opened by the City Council. For the residents of Caldes de Montbui, the consolidation of these positions reinforces the capacity of the local administration to provide quality services in areas such as education, trade and consumption, and urban planning.
