Cabra opens aid to PTAs for school supplies and activities

The Cabra City Council has opened the grant call for the associations of mothers and fathers of students (AMPAs) of the educational centers of the municipality, endowed with 7,000 euros for activities and teaching materials for the 2026/2027 school year. The announcement is published in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Córdoba number 156, of August 13, 2026, with the official reference BOP-A-2026-2848, and applications may be submitted until October 31.
The call is disseminated as an extract in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Grants, and its full text can be consulted in the National Grants Database, with identifier BDNS 924402. The credit is charged to budget item 3231-48200 of the municipal budget, and payment will be made in a single installment at the time of the award.
Purpose and beneficiaries
The purpose of the call is to cover the expenses of activities or teaching materials of the parent associations of students of the educational centers of Cabra, both public and state-subsidized, during the 2026/2027 school year. The following AMPAs may be beneficiaries:
- Nursery schools.
- Preschool and primary schools, public and state-subsidized.
- Secondary schools.
- Special education centers.
- Cabra Elementary Music Conservatory.
How and when to apply
Applications must be submitted electronically through the Electronic Office of the Cabra City Council, addressed to the Mayor-President, following the model attached to the call. They must be signed by the person holding the legal representation of the association or with sufficient power, accompanied by reliable documentation proving such representation or power of attorney.
- Submission period: from the day following publication in the BOP until October 31.
- Award criteria: those established in the governing rules published in BOP of Córdoba No. 165, of August 30, 2021, in accordance with objective criteria.
Justification and signature
Beneficiary entities must justify the grant before October 1, 2027 to the granting body, through the simplified supporting account of the entire project, with invoices, proof of payment and other documents of evidentiary value accepted in commercial transactions. The announcement is dated in Cabra on August 7, 2026, and signed by the acting mayor, Francisco Casas Marín.
With this line of grants, the Cabra town council reinforces support for families with school-age children: the subsidies allow AMPAs (parent-teacher associations) to fund complementary activities and teaching materials without passing the cost on to household budgets. The deadline, open until October 31, gives associations from the different types of schools room to prepare their projects for the new school year.
