Cabanillas del Campo abre ayudas de 30.000 euros para deportistas federados locales

The Cabanillas del Campo City Council has announced grants totaling 30,000 euros intended for local individual athletes with a federative license who have competed in official events during 2025. The call is published via summary in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 201, dated October 21, 2026, with the code BDNS 935784 and the signature of the mayor, José García Salinas, in Cabanillas del Campo on October 16, 2026. The deadline for submitting applications is only ten business days starting from the day following the publication of the summary.

Regulatory and Budgetary Framework

The specific guidelines are approved under articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, and the full text can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (BDNS), the municipal electronic office, and the City Council website. The grants are integrated into the Strategic Subsidies Plan for the 2026 fiscal year, approved by Mayoral Decree 2026-0350, of April 1, and contribute to the strategic objective of promoting and fostering sports.

The credit is allocated to budgetary application 341.480 of the current 2026 budget, with a total amount of 30,000.00 euros. The sum of the grants awarded may not exceed this figure under any circumstances. The procedure is processed under a competitive bidding regime.

Requirements and Documentation

Athletes who carried out their activity between January 1 and December 31, 2025, and who meet the following may apply for the grants:

  • Registration (empadronamiento) in Cabanillas del Campo for at least two years, verified ex officio.
  • Possession of a valid federative license in any modality officially recognized by the Higher Council for Sports.
  • Not be serving a final sanction for a serious or very serious infringement in sporting matters, which must be proven with a certificate from the federation.
  • Be up to date with the City Council, the Tax Agency, and Social Security, and not incur the prohibitions of article 13.2 of the General Subsidies Law.

The required documentation includes Annex I (application), Annex II (report and results), Annex III (economic report and supporting documents), Annex IV (responsible declaration), ID (DNI), federative license for the current season, federative certificate of results, and a third-party form with the account number. School championships, friendly competitions, unofficial tournaments, and opens are excluded.

Scale, Amounts, and Processing

The assessment awards points for each participation certified by the federation: 15 points for world competitions, 10 for European, 4 for national, and 1 for regional, with no limit on the number of participations. The maximum amounts per competition are 4,000 euros for world championships, 2,000 for European, 1,000 for national, and 200 for regional, with partial caps for federation expenses (200 euros), registration, medical and physiotherapy assistance, accommodation and board, transport (0.16 euros per kilometer), and accompaniment.

The instructing body is a delegated councilor of the sports area, and the Assessment Commission will be composed of the mayor or the councilor to whom they delegate as president, the municipal secretary, and three members: a councilor from the area, a civil servant, and a specialist technician. The granting of the aid corresponds to the Mayor’s Office. The maximum period for resolution is six months from the end of the application period, and notification will be made by publication on the electronic headquarters notice board.

Deadlines, compatibility, and control

Applications are submitted to the General Registry of the City Council or through any of the channels provided for in Law 39/2015 and the municipal electronic headquarters. Defects may be rectified within ten days. The grants are compatible with other subsidies from public administrations or private entities provided that the sum does not exceed 100% of the subsidized expenses, and they are not exempt under article 7 of Law 35/2006 on Personal Income Tax (IRPF). Payment is made after the justification is approved, with supporting documents kept for four years, and non-compliance leads to reimbursement in accordance with article 42 of the General Law on Subsidies.

The call for applications ends the administrative route: an optional appeal for reversal may be filed within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Court of First Instance of Guadalajara within two months.

The call arrives with a very tight schedule: those aspiring to these grants have barely two weeks to gather federation certificates, invoices, and proof of payment for an entire season. Municipal support primarily rewards international projection, as a single world championship can be worth up to 4,000 euros—twenty times more than a regional event—a design that directs effort toward athletes with a presence in European and world circuits.
