Training course and appointment

Those who pass the competitive examination shall be appointed as trainee civil servants and must complete a training course of at least 150 hours at the Andalusian Institute of Emergencies and Public Safety (IESPA), at accredited schools or at municipal Local Police schools, before their appointment as career civil servants. The call is governed by Law 6/2023, of July 7, on Local Police of Andalusia, and by Decree 8/2026, of February 3, on entry, internal promotion and training of Andalusian local police. The extract of the terms will also be published in the BOJA and in the BOE.

The call opens a pathway for active officers to rise to the top of the corps and reinforces the command structure of the Local Police of the capital, within the framework of municipal public employment planning for 2023-2025. Interested parties should watch for the publication of the extract in the BOE, which will activate the deadline for submitting applications.
