Cádiz opens for public consultation the transfer of 108 homes to Procasa

The Cádiz City Council has initiated the process to transfer free of charge to the municipal company Promoción y Gestión de Viviendas de Cádiz, S.A. (PROCASA) the 108 homes of the Manuel de Falla Group integrated into the Municipal Land Heritage. The Local Government Board, in its session on August 21, 2026 (item 9), agreed to start the transfer and subject it to public consultation for twenty days. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz no. 183, dated September 22, 2026, with reference No. 299.475.

The agreement aims for the remodeling of the Manuel de Falla Neighborhood, identified in the planning as UE-EX-15 “Manuel de Falla”, and is processed in accordance with Law 7/2021, of December 1, for the promotion of the sustainability of the territory of Andalusia. The operation will be completed with the Detail Study and the Reparceling Project approved by the Cádiz City Council itself, instruments that will determine the definitive scope of the intervention in the neighborhood.

The homes subject to the transfer do not constitute a new housing stock: they have been part of the Municipal Land Heritage since the agreement of the Local Government Board on May 11, 2012 (item 67, urgent matter 27). The file is opened in compliance with Article 51 of Decree 18/2006, of January 24, which approves the Regulations on Assets of Local Entities of Andalusia, the regulation that governs the procedure for the disposal and transfer of local assets.
