Cádiz publishes the provisional lists of its selective processes with internal promotion.

The City Council of Cádiz has approved the provisional lists of accepted and excluded applicants, the selection panels and the exam dates for the selection processes of its public employment offer with internal promotion reserve 2024-2025. The approval was formalised through Decrees No. 2026/3177, 2026/3178 and 2026/3179 issued by the deputy mayor responsible for the Civil Service, dated 3 August 2026, and the announcement is published in Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz number 154, of 12 August 2026, with reference No. 264.220. From its publication, interested parties have ten business days to submit claims.

Framework of the call

The processes now opened correspond to the 2024-2025 public employment offer of the City Council of Cádiz with a reserve of places for internal promotion, that is, aimed at staff who already provide services in the municipal administration itself and who are applying for a position of a higher category. The announcement published in the provincial gazette includes three selection processes totalling eight places:

• Six places for administrative assistants, corresponding to the OEP 2024 and 2025.
• One place for a culture technician, corresponding to the OEP 2024.
• One place for a teacher, corresponding to the OEP 2025.

What is approved in the decrees

Through the three decrees, adopted on the same date, the provisional list of accepted and excluded applicants for each process, the composition of the selection panels and the dates for holding the exercises are jointly approved. This is an intermediate step in the selection procedure: once the claims procedure has been resolved, the definitive lists will be approved and the tests, which already have a set calendar and appointed panels, will proceed.

Where to consult the lists

According to the announcement, the provisional lists of accepted and excluded applicants, the selection panels and the dates of the exercises are displayed on the municipal website www.cadiz.es and on the physical and virtual notice board of the City Council of Cádiz. The text adds that the successive announcements of the call, when made in accordance with the rules, will be made public in the manner provided for in the rules of each process.

Ten business days to file claims

The deadline for submitting claims against the lists is ten business days, counted from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz, that is, from 13 August 2026. The announcement, dated in Cádiz on 6 August 2026, is signed by Marina del Pilar Jiménez Rivas, Director of the Personnel Area, by delegation of the General Secretary of the City Council.

Relevance for applicants

The publication of the provisional lists is a key milestone for those registered in these processes: those who appear as excluded or detect errors in their personal data or in the merits claimed have ten business days to correct them, while those admitted already know the composition of the examination boards and the schedule of the exercises. The reservation of places for internal promotion also allows municipal employees to progress within the staff of the City Council of Cádiz, a mechanism that strengthens the administrative career of municipal personnel and provides stability to the provision of public services.
