Azuqueca allocates 5,000 euros for local religious associations

The City Council of Azuqueca de Henares has approved a new call for grants, for a maximum amount of 5,000 euros, aimed at religious associations working towards the conservation of the municipality’s heritage and religious traditions. The call, corresponding to the 2026 fiscal year, was approved by mayoral resolution on August 20, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 163, dated August 26, 2026, with reference BDNS 926067.
The initiative stems from the regulatory bases definitively approved and published in the BOP number 136, dated July 17, 2025, under the title “Definitive Approval of Regulatory Bases for grants for religious associations of Azuqueca”. Purpose and Amount
The objective of the call is to encourage the participation of religious associations in the conservation of the heritage and religious traditions of Azuqueca de Henares. The maximum amount allocated is 5,000 euros, chargeable to budget item 9240.489.06.
Requirements for Beneficiary Entities
All legally constituted and registered religious associations, both in the corresponding official registry and in the Local Registry of Associations, with a registered office in Azuqueca de Henares, may be beneficiaries. The required requirements are:
- To be registered in the Local Registry of Associations.
- To have a registered office in Azuqueca de Henares.
- To have at least 250 members.
- To have participated in previous years in activities of the local festival program.
- To promote the traditions and religious culture of Azuqueca de Henares.
- To be up to date with tax obligations, Social Security, and the repayment of grants.
- Not to be subject to causes of disqualification according to Law 38/2003 and Law 11/2003 of Castilla-La Mancha.
Deadline and Method of Submission
Applications must be submitted using the form included in the call (Annex I), together with the accompanying documentation, within two days from the day following the publication of the call and its summary in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara. Submission shall be carried out electronically, in accordance with the provisions of article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure.
The following documentation must be attached to the application:
- Photocopy of the applicant’s ID (DNI).
- Application (Annex I) and responsible declarations (Annexes II and III).
- Third-party form completed and signed by the banking entity, in cases of first-time application or change of account.
- Nominal list of associated persons with their ID (DNI) and address.
If the application does not meet the requirements, the applicant will be required to rectify it within ten days, after which, if not rectified, they will be considered to have withdrawn.
