National Water Authority registers water concession for Jardines del Recuerdo

The National Water Authority (ANA) registered in favor of the commercial company Jardines del Recuerdo, S.A. a concession title to utilize groundwater from a well located in Ticuantepe, department of Managua, with a maximum annual volume of 138,600.00 cubic meters. The registration is recorded in certification RPNDAPS-LITC-ITC-0096-2026, published in La Gaceta, Official Gazette No. 185 on Friday, October 9, 2026, page 9727, and covers Administrative Resolution No. RAE-ANA-DGRH-0132-2026, issued on August 20, 2026, and notified on September 1, 2026.

Legal framework and scope of the granted right

The National Public Registry of Water Rights and Service Providers of the ANA certified the registration under Perpetual Number 0096, folios 127 and 128, Volume VII of the Concession Titles Registration Book. The granted right has a validity of five (05) years starting from the moment of its notification.

The utilization was authorized at the point designated as “Jardines del Recuero PP,” located within basin No. 69, named “Río San Juan,” demarcated in the municipality of Ticuantepe, department of Managua, specifically at UTM WGS84 coordinates 586708 E – 1332290 N.

• Maximum annual utilization volume: 138,600.00 m³.
• Authorized use: human consumption linked to commercial activity and others not specified in which water is a relevant component or factor.
• Validity of the right: five years from notification.

Procedure, applicant, and person responsible for registration

The application was submitted on September 1, 2026, by María Elizabeth Ordóñez Obregón, acting as special proxy for Jardines del Recuerdo, S.A., a company constituted by Public Deed number 166 signed on March 26, 1996, before the notary offices of Omar Sánchez Barquero. The representation was accredited by the Testimony of Public Deed number 29, signed on August 28, 2026, before the notary offices of Eddy Enrique Martínez Rivera.

The certification was signed and sealed in the city of Managua at 11:20 in the morning on September 1, 2026, by Luis Fernando Yescas García, National Public Registrar of Water Rights and Service Providers. The Seventh Resolve of the registered resolution orders that the certification be published in La Gaceta, Official Gazette within a maximum period of fifteen (15) calendar days, a requirement that was fulfilled with the edition of October 9, 2026.
