Appeal before the Permit Disputes Council
Any interested party may lodge an appeal against the définitif onteigeningsbesluit with the Raad voor Vergunningsbetwistingen (Permit Disputes Council) within 45 days. This independent Flemish administrative jurisdictional body specifically handles appeals directed against expropriation decisions.
The starting point of the deadline varies depending on the situation of the applicant:

- in all other cases, it runs from the day following the publication of the decision in the Belgian Official Gazette.
Scope of the decision
