Por FactBox Admin

The Government of Aragon has resolved the call for grants for the implementation of projects regarding family, childhood, and adolescence in rural areas, endowed with 310,000 euros and aimed at Aragonese regions (comarcas). The decision corresponds to the Vice President and Councilor for Deregulation, Social Welfare, and Family, Alejandro Nolasco Asensio, and is formalized in Order DBF/1441/2026, of October 2. The text is published in the Official Gazette of Aragon number 197, of October 9, 2026, within section III of other provisions and agreements, with the official reference BOA20261009011.
The original call is Order DBF/1035/2026, of July 7, whose summary appeared in the Official Gazette of Aragon number 136, of July 16, 2026, and which was registered in the National Grants Database under number 906900. The procedure is identified under the designation DGFAM 11/2026 and its objective is to contribute to the creation of a network of services that facilitate the co-responsible reconciliation of personal, family, and work life in rural environments, where difficulties in balancing these aspects are more pronounced.
The regulation also seeks to promote the positive exercise of parenting through support measures for family dynamics and actions that contribute to the comprehensive well-being of children and adolescents in rural areas. The instruction of the procedure corresponds to the Family Support Service Department of the General Directorate of Family, Childhood, and Natality.
Distribution by lines of action
The total amount granted amounts to 310,000 euros, distributed across two lines:
- Reconciliation services: 210,000 euros, charged to budget application 20020 G/3133/460048/91002, detailed in Annex I.
- Activities for the promotion of positive parenting and the comprehensive well-being of children and adolescents: 100,000 euros, charged to budget application 20020 G/3133/460250/91002, detailed in Annex II.

Evaluation and processing
The projects were examined by the Evaluation Commission according to the criteria and sub-criteria of the ninth section of the call order, considering coherence, suitability for the objective, feasibility, the involvement of the region, the detected needs, and the existence or absence of other resources. The proposal from the instructing body was submitted on September 30, 2026.
To determine each amount, the percentage corresponding to the score obtained was applied, with a maximum limit of 15% of the available credit for each line. Since the credit was exceeded or not fully reached in lines 1 and 2, respectively, the grant was reduced in the first case and increased in the second until the maximum credit was exhausted. The resolution specifies that the reformulation of applications will not be permitted.
Deadlines, justification, and appeals
Payment will be made once the fulfillment of the purpose has been credited and the expenditure justified, and is conditional upon the region being up to date with its tax and Social Security obligations. The period for submitting the supporting documentation begins on October 13, 2026, and ends on October 27, 2026.
- Acceptance of the grant is understood to be granted if the contrary is not stated within ten calendar days from publication.
- An optional appeal for reversal may be filed against the resolution, which ends the administrative process, within one month before the vice president and counselor.
- A contentious-administrative appeal may also be filed before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Aragon within two months.
The award complies with Order CDS/1427/2021, of October 21, regarding regulatory bases, the consolidated text of the Grants Law of Aragon approved by Legislative Decree 2/2023, of May 3, and Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Grants Law.
The distribution represents direct economic support for rural regions, the administrations closest to families with fewer reconciliation resources. With 210,000 euros for reconciliation services and 100,000 for positive parenting, the Government of Aragon reinforces a care network that seeks to stabilize the population and guarantee the well-being of children in the territory.
