The National Water Authority (ANA) registered Administrative Resolution No. RAE-ANA-DGRH-0152-2026, which renews and modifies the discharge permit for a domestic wastewater treatment system of the commercial company Servicios Residenciales Nejapa, S.A. for a term of five years and a maximum volume of 29,792.80 annual cubic meters. The registration certification was published in La Gaceta, Official Gazette No. 190 on Friday, October 16, 2026, in the National Water Authority section, under registration Reg. 2026-01003.
The act was issued by the National Public Registry of Water Rights and Service Providers of the ANA, based on Law No. 620, “General Law of National Waters,” published in La Gaceta, Official Gazette No. 169 on September 4, 2007; Law No. 1046, “Reform Law to Law No. 620, General Law of National Waters,” published in La Gaceta, Official Gazette No. 217 on November 23, 2020; and Administrative Resolution No. 140-2019, “Appointment of the National Public Registrar of Water Rights,” issued on December 20, 2019.
A renewal that also modifies the previous permit
The First Resolve of the certification orders the registration of Administrative Resolution No. RAE-ANA-DGRH-0152-2026 for the “Renewal and modification of the discharge permit for one (01) domestic wastewater treatment system,” originally granted through Administrative Resolution RAE-ANA-DGRH-177-2021 in favor of Servicios Residenciales Nejapa, S.A.
The new resolution was issued on August 31, 2026, and notified on September 25, 2026, the date from which the five-year validity of the granted right begins. The registration was recorded under Perpetual Number 0025, folios 36 and 37, Volume VII of the Discharge Permit Registration Book, with the registration reference RPNDAPS-LIPV-RPV-0025-2026.
The discharge point: San Juan River basin and 29,792.80 m³ per year
The Second and Third Resolves establish the technical characteristics of the system and the authorized discharge:

- Maximum authorized annual discharge volume: 29,792.80 m³.

Procedure, proxy, and official publication
The application was submitted on September 25, 2026, by engineer Guillermo Alonso Sánchez Lacayo, acting as General Administrative Proxy for Servicios Residenciales Nejapa, S.A., a company incorporated by Public Deed number 44 on July 22, 2015, before the notary offices of Edytha Greenhilde Cruz Hernández, with representation accredited by the Testimony of Public Deed number 2 on January 2, 2021, before Julieta del Socorro Jarquín González.
The certification was signed and sealed by registrar Luis Fernando Yescas García in Managua, at 2:15 p.m. on September 25, 2026, and issued at 2:20 p.m. on that same day. The Seventh Ruling of the registered resolution establishes that the certification must be published in La Gaceta, Diario Oficial within a maximum period of fifteen calendar days.
The publication of this act is important for the users of the watercourse in the San Juan River basin and for the environmental management of the capital, because it sets for five years the discharge ceiling for domestic wastewater from a provider operating in the municipality of Managua and provides public record, with coordinates and volume, of the point where that discharge reaches a natural watercourse.
