Almuradiel selecciona siete trabajadores para el Plan de Empleo 2026 de la Diputación

The Almuradiel City Council has approved the guidelines that will govern the selection of seven workers to execute the 2026 Employment Plan of the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 214, dated November 5, 2026, under file 182/2026 and announcement number 3561, with the approval of the Mayor-President, Braulio Egido del Campo, in Almuradiel on October 19, 2026.

Seven positions divided into five profiles

The purpose of the call is the selection of seven people, together with the generic offer made to the Public Employment Service, in accordance with the pre-allocation granted to the municipality. The positions and durations are as follows:

  • Two garden and herbicide laborers, with a three-month contract.
  • One mason laborer for the town’s public spaces, with a two-month contract.
  • Two cleaning and painting laborers for summer schools, with a three-month contract.
  • One summer school monitor, with a two-month contract.
  • One multi-service laborer, with a three-month contract.

In total, there will be five three-month contracts and two two-month contracts, formalized as temporary contracts due to production circumstances, with a one-month probationary period.

Full-time and minimum interprofessional wage

The workday will be full-time, from Monday to Sunday, with 40 hours per week, in morning, afternoon, or split shifts depending on the needs of the service. The remuneration will be 1,381.33 gross euros per month, equivalent to the Minimum Interprofessional Wage, including the prorated extraordinary payment.

Requirements vary by position: the cleaning and painting laborer does not need specific accreditation; the multi-service laborer requires a Class B driver’s license; the garden laborer requires a qualified phytosanitary treatment license, a Class B license, and to be registered as an agricultural laborer job seeker; the summer school monitor must provide a High School diploma or equivalent and a certificate of no sexual offenses; and the masonry position requires a masonry course certificate, a Class B license, and availability for morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts.

Ten business days and a maximum of two positions per applicant

Applications shall be submitted according to the standardized model of Annex II at the general registry of the City Council, at Plaza del Ayuntamiento 1, Postal Code 13760, during the ten business days following the publication of the call on the notice board and the municipal website. Each person may apply for a maximum of two modalities; if more are submitted, only the first two registered in chronological order will be admitted.

The required documentation includes:

  • Photocopy of a valid DNI or NIE.
  • Driver’s license B, when required.
  • Qualified phytosanitary treatment certificate, when required.
  • Employment demand card and updated work history (vida laboral).
  • Collective census certificate (empadronamiento) if not residing in Almuradiel.
  • Photocopy of the family book (libro de familia).

Persons registered as job seekers in an office in Castilla-La Mancha and who are currently unemployed may participate. No more than one person per family unit will be hired unless no other job seekers exist.

Scoring by professional trajectory and family burdens

The Local Government Board will be the selection body, while the scoring will be the responsibility of the Local Employment Commission. For laborer positions, priority will be given to the longest time elapsed since the end of the last contract, with priority for those who have never been hired; subsequently, family burdens, age, and, as a last resort, a public draw will be valued. For the monitor, qualifications, courses, and experience will be scored. After the application period, the Mayor’s Office will approve the provisional list with three business days for claims.

Financing and calendar

The project is financed through the call for the 2026 Employment Plan of the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real, approved by the provincial Government Board on September 8, 2026, and published in the Official Provincial Gazette number 176, dated September 14, 2026. The call will be made by telephone, and the candidate must respond within a maximum period of 24 hours.

The call is relevant to the municipality because it offers seven temporary jobs to unemployed persons during a period of low activity, with a pool of substitutes to cover absences, and because it prioritizes those who have been without work for the longest time.
