Almonacid de Zorita announces two vacancies for parks and gardens laborers

Por FactBox Admin

The Almonacid de Zorita City Council has published the guidelines for the call for the selection and hiring of two workers under a temporary labor personnel regime, assigned to Project 1 “Maintenance of Parks, Roads, and Gardens.” The call is part of the 2026 Active Employment Support Program (Line 1) and appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara, number 161, dated Monday, August 24, 2026.

The action is financed by the grant awarded to the municipality through the Resolution of the Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Economy, Business, and Employment in Guadalajara, dated June 26, 2026 (File PAAE/1-GU P1902700B-26-01), issued under Order 46/2026, of April 7, which regulates the guidelines for granting these aids and issues the call for 2026. The project is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) of Castilla-La Mancha 2021-2027, with a maximum percentage of 85% of the eligible costs.

Contract Conditions

The contracts will be formalized as contracts for the improvement of employability and labor insertion (model 405), with a duration of 180 non-extendable calendar days and a full-time schedule, from Monday to Friday, unless the needs of the service determine another hourly distribution set by the Mayor’s Office.

  • Daily remuneration equivalent to the current Interprofessional Minimum Wage as the base salary, plus the proportional part of extraordinary payments.
  • A one-month probationary period, during which both parties may terminate the relationship without the right to compensation.
  • In addition to productive work, the workday will include motivation, guidance, or training actions proposed by the City Council or the Castilla-La Mancha Emplea Office.

Groups and Requirements

Unemployed job seekers registered in a Castilla-La Mancha Emplea Office may participate, provided they have at least 360 days of registration within the 540 days prior to the registration of the offer. Preferred groups include:

  • Persons aged 30 to 66 without contributory unemployment benefits.
  • Persons with a recognized disability equal to or greater than 33%.
  • Low-skilled youth, between 18 and 30 years old or registered in the National Youth Guarantee System.
  • Women victims of gender-based violence, persons with autism spectrum disorder, and victims of trafficking.
  • Persons dismissed in the previous five years in accordance with articles 51 and 52.c) of the Workers’ Statute.

Since the municipality does not exceed 3,000 inhabitants, the minimum percentages provided for in Article 16 of Order 46/2026 are not mandatorily applicable. Applicants must meet the general requirements demanded of Public Administration personnel, and those who do not achieve 80% attendance or accumulate more than three unjustified absences in previous contracts will be excluded.

Selection process

Applications shall be submitted to the General Registry of the City Council or through its Electronic Office within ten calendar days from the publication of the rules in the BOP. The assessment will be carried out in a single merits phase, up to a maximum of 9 points, based on criteria such as time unemployed, degree of disability, social exclusion status, age, or training in drinking water networks.

The Local Selection Committee, composed of five members appointed by the Mayor-President, will propose to the Mayor’s Office the hiring of the individuals with the highest scores. The remaining applicants will form a Job Bank in order of score to cover sick leaves or resignations. The rules were signed on August 18, 2026, by the Mayor, Mr. José Miguel López Aguirre.
