Alcázar de San Juan abre alegaciones a la modificación de sus ordenanzas fiscales

The Plenary Session of the City Council of Alcázar de San Juan provisionally approved on October 27, 2026, the modification of several municipal tax ordinances, according to announcement number 3465 published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. The agreement opens a 30-day period for interested parties to submit allegations. If no claims are registered, the modification will be definitively approved without the need for a new plenary agreement.

The processing complies with Article 17.2 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, and which requires provisional agreements for the modification of tax ordinances to be submitted for public information. The administrative file supporting the reform is 2026/13758L, and its content determines the fees and taxes that residents and companies must pay once the process is concluded.

Thirty days to examine and claim

The public information period begins to count from the day following the insertion of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province. During that month, interested parties may examine the complete file and formulate any claims they deem appropriate against the provisional approval agreed upon by the plenary.

The text of the announcement does not detail the specific ordinances affected nor the resulting amounts: that information is contained in file 2026/13758L, which is the document that interested parties must consult to know the scope of the tax reform.

Where to consult the file

The city council provides two means of consultation:

  • In person, at the Municipal Offices of the City Council of Alcázar de San Juan, in the Revenue Service located at Santo Domingo, 1 street (ground floor).
  • Electronically, and preferably, on the electronic notice board and edicts of the municipal electronic headquarters.

The document is signed in Alcázar de San Juan on October 28, 2026, by the Mayor-President, Rosa Melchor Quiralte, and the document appears as page 3 of a total of 45.

No claims, no new plenary

The announcement expressly establishes that, after the 30-day period has elapsed without claims, the agreement adopted on a provisional basis will be understood as definitively adopted. This provision avoids the file passing through a second plenary vote and turns administrative silence into validation of the reform.

The publication in the official gazette is, therefore, the milestone that marks the calendar: it sets the start of the 30-day count and, consequently, the date from which the modification will be final if no one appeals.

The relevance of this procedure is both economic and domestic: what is approved in file 2026/13758L sets the municipal rates and taxes that residents and businesses in Alcázar de San Juan will pay. Hence the importance of the allegations period, the only real window for participation before the tax reform is finalized and begins to be applied.
