Albacete definitively awards the Social Integration Social Worker position

The Albacete City Council has definitively awarded the position of Social Worker in the Social Integration Technical Unit, code IT221002, to Lorena Ortega Martínez-Falero. The decision is signed by the Delegate Councilor for General Coordination of Municipal Government Operation, Communication between Areas, Councilorships, Services, and Departments through resolution no. 8252/2026, of October 9, published by the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete (BOP) in issue 124 on Friday, October 23, 2026, within the Third Section. Local Administration, on page 4.

The resolving body and its legal backing

The resolution is issued within the framework of the file processed by the City Council’s Human Resources and Occupational Risk Prevention Service and with the backing of the delegation granted by the Local Government Board through the agreement of June 22, 2023. The process concluded with the Evaluation Commission, which in the session of October 8, 2026, formulated the proposal for the definitive resolution of the final phase (fase de resultas). • Total: 8.49 points.

According to this scale, the second point of the resolution definitively awards the position of Social Worker of the Social Integration Technical Unit in this final phase.

Deadlines and means of appeal

The resolution does not exhaust the administrative route: it may be optionally appealed for reversal within one month or challenged directly before the contentious-administrative jurisdictional order within two months. Both periods are counted from its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province.

The cited regulatory basis consists of articles 112, 123, and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, and article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction.
