Aguilar de la Frontera announces 75,000 euros in grants for sports clubs

The City Council of Aguilar de la Frontera has published the call for grants, on a competitive basis, intended for non-profit associations and sports clubs for projects developed during the 2025 fiscal year. The call, signed by the mayor-president Francisca Herrador Cosano on August 31, 2026, appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 171, dated September 3, 2026, pages 12833 to 12836, with reference BOP-A-2026-3022.

The maximum available budget amounts to 75,000.00 euros, charged to application 3410/48012 “Grants to Sports Associations on a competitive basis 2025” of the General Municipal Budget. The call is identified in the National Grants Database (BDNS) with number 927082, and its full text can be consulted on the Edicts Board of the City Council’s electronic office.

Object and Purpose

The purpose of these guidelines is to regulate the granting of aid for the development of sports projects and activities carried out during 2025 in the municipality. Among its objectives are:

• To promote sports through associations and sports schools, financing part of the acquisition of sports equipment.
• To increase the number of people registered in sports associations, schools, and federations.
• To encourage the organization of municipal sports competitions, activities, and events.
• To incentivize the establishment of entities dedicated to the promotion of sports (exhibitions, championships, training courses, cycle-tourism routes, and similar).

Beneficiaries and Amounts

Legally constituted non-profit associations and sports clubs, registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations and in the Andalusian Registry of Sports Entities or Associations of Andalusia, and whose statutory purpose corresponds to the call, may be beneficiaries. Entities indebted to the City Council, the Social Security Treasury, or the Tax Agency are excluded.

The credit is divided into two lines:

• Line 1: 58,000.00 euros.
• Line 2: 17,000.00 euros.

The regulatory guidelines were approved by Mayoral Resolution No. 2026/00002738, dated August 27, 2026, and can be consulted on the Edicts Board of the municipal electronic office.

Deadline and Submission of Applications

The submission period is fifteen business days starting from the day following the publication of the summary in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba. Applications, addressed to the mayor-president, shall be formalized exclusively by electronic means in accordance with Article 14 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure, and must be accompanied by:

• Tax Identification Number (CIF) and the entity’s bylaws.
• ID (DNI) and accreditation of legal representation.
• Bank certificate of the current account.
• Certificates of being up to date with the State Tax Administration Agency, the Andalusian Tax Agency, and the General Treasury of the Social Security.
• Activity project with a detailed budget (Annex II or III depending on the line).

The call for applications is processed in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies.
