Aguilar de Campoo publishes its 2026 Public Employment Offer

The Aguilar de Campoo City Council has approved its 2026 Public Employment Offer, which includes eleven positions between career civil servants and permanent contractual staff, with both open access and internal promotion procedures. The decision was adopted by agreement of the Local Government Board dated August 3, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Palencia no. 103, dated August 28, 2026.

The announcement, signed by Mayor María José Ortega Gómez, serves as a rectification of the one published in the BOP of Palencia no. 49, dated July 13, 2026. The call is processed in compliance with Article 91 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of Local Regime, and Article 70 of the Recast Text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30.

Career Civil Servant Positions

The offer reserves four positions for career civil servants, distributed across three categories of the General Administration scale:

• General Administration Technician (1 position), group A1, Higher Technician sub-scale, via open access.
• Administrative Grant Manager (1 position), group C1, under an interim regime, via competitive examination.
• Administrative Assistant (2 positions), group C2, Assistant sub-scale, via open access.

Permanent Contractual Staff Positions

The permanent contractual staff block totals seven positions, all via the competitive examination system, combining open access and internal promotion shifts:

• Foreman (1 position), via internal promotion.
• First-Class Tradesman (2 positions), via internal promotion.
• First-Class Tradesman (2 positions), via open access.
• Laborer (2 positions), via open access.

A key process for employment in the region

With this offer, the council of the Aguilar de Campoo region opens a selection process that combines the consolidation of technical and administrative positions with the filling of labor categories for construction and maintenance. The reservation of positions for internal promotion allows municipal employees already on the payroll to be promoted, while the open shifts open the door to new applicants.

The publication in the official gazette publicizes the agreement and establishes the regulatory framework for the subsequent call for selection processes, the bases and application deadlines of which will be announced in the coming months.
