Laboratory Assistant positions awarded in the Junta

The General Directorate of the Civil Service of the Regional Ministry of Finance, Public Administrations and Digital Transformation has awarded a permanent posting to the person who passed the selection process for permanent coverage via the open access system in the professional category of Laboratory Assistant. The resolution, signed on August 17, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM) number 161, dated August 24, 2026, in the section for Competitive Examinations and Contests (reference 2026/6196).

The process is part of the call approved by the resolution of the General Directorate of the Civil Service dated December 5, 2024 (DOCM no. 244, of 12-18-2024), which opened positions via internal promotion and open access within the labor staff of the Administration of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha. After the selection process concluded, the hiring proposal and the posting offer were published by resolution on July 27, 2026 (DOCM no. 145, of 07-31-2026).

One position remains unfilled due to lack of documentation

Following the deadline to submit the posting request and the required documentation, Mr. José Joaquín Rico Sánchez Crespo (DNI *2305) did not complete this procedure within the established timeframe; therefore, his award is rendered null and void. The unfilled position will be subsequently awarded to whoever passed the selection process according to the qualifying tribunal.

Awarded Posting

In accordance with Annex I of the resolution, the posting is awarded to the following person:

• Gómez Ortega, Aránzazu (DNI *1874), position code 01765, Laboratory Assistant, Group IV, ordinary working day, in Toledo (Central Services, workplace L.A.R.A.G.A.), assigned to the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development.

Incorporation Deadlines and Probationary Period

The signing of the contract and the incorporation into the position shall take place within one month from the day following the publication in the DOCM, a non-extendable deadline except in cases of duly justified force majeure. The signing shall take place at the Personnel Department of the body or organization to which the position is assigned, and must be accompanied by the declaration provided for in Article 13 of Royal Decree 598/1985, of April 30, or the compatibility request from Article 10 of Law 53/1984, of December 26.

Once incorporated, staff must complete a probationary period of one month for Groups III and IV, and fifteen days for Group V, unless they have already performed the same functions within the regional Administration. Those who pass the period will acquire the status of permanent labor staff of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha.

The resolution, signed by the Director General of the Civil Service, José Narváez Vila, by delegation of the counselor, may be appealed before the Social Jurisdiction or, optionally, through a request for reversal before the Directorate General itself within a period of one month.

The award consolidates the Junta’s workforce in a key technical profile for agricultural laboratory services, and the case of Rico Sánchez Crespo serves as a reminder of the rigor of administrative deadlines: the failure to submit documentation in a timely and proper manner results in the automatic loss of the position obtained in the selection process.
