Aarhus court jails Romanian citizen for 14 days and warns of expulsion

Retten i Aarhus has sentenced Petru Bombonel, a Romanian citizen born on 14 December 1960, to 14 days’ imprisonment and issued him a warning of expulsion, under a judgment handed down on 28 August 2026. The ruling in case 2-1402/2026 was published in Statstidende on 18 September 2026 under reference S18092026-162, because no other form of service had been possible.

The judgment

The judgment was delivered by Retten i Aarhus in proceedings brought by the prosecution service (Anklagemyndigheden) against Petru Bombonel, whose last known address is recorded as unknown, in Romania. The court’s order states:
