The Xunta allocates 2.5 million to the second round of Activa comercio vouchers

The Department of Employment, Trade and Emigration has announced the second edition of 2026 of the program to stimulate and incentivize consumption in retail businesses through the Activa comercio vouchers, endowed with 2,501,000 euros. The call is published in the Official Gazette of Galicia number 205, of October 27, 2026, by means of the Order of October 7, 2026 signed by the counselor José González Vázquez. Users will be able to download the vouchers from 9:00 AM on October 28 at the website www.bonosactivacomercio.gal.

The regulation manages the aid under a non-competitive concurrence regime under procedure code CO301B and refers to the regulatory bases approved by the Order of March 12, 2026, published in the DOG number 57, of March 26. The instruction corresponds to the General Directorate of Trade and Consumption, while the delivery and distribution of funds is carried out through the collaborating entity selected under the Order of January 8, 2026 (procedure CO301A, DOG number 13, of January 21).

The call is part of the Strategic Plan for Trade in Galicia 2025-2030, approved by the Council of the Xunta on March 31, 2025, and its action 2.2.1 regarding campaigns to incentivize consumption in local trade. The Galician Government justifies the new edition based on the “positive impact” of previous calls on the reactivation of sales in proximity trade.

Discounts of up to 30 euros per person

Each beneficiary person will have a single voucher, with a maximum value of 30 euros, which can be used in one or several participating businesses. The discount brackets, including VAT, are as follows:

• 5 euros discount on purchases equal to or greater than 20 euros and less than 30 euros.
• 10 euros discount on purchases equal to or greater than 30 euros and less than 50 euros.
• 15 euros discount on purchases equal to or greater than 50 euros.

The vouchers will be in digital format via QR code and will be used through a wallet-type payment application. The exchange will not be applicable to purchases made online.

Budget and validity

The credit is distributed into two actions charged to budget application 14.06.751A.480.1 of the general budgets of the Autonomous Community for 2026:

• Activa comercio vouchers program: 2,500,000 euros.
• Activa comercio vouchers raffle: 1,000 euros.

The order allows for the expansion of the budget based on the evolution of the program and the availability of credit, without such publicity opening a new application period. The vouchers may be used until the discounts effectively applied reach 2,500,000 euros. The regulation enters into force the day following its publication in the DOG.

Who can apply and how

Beneficiaries may be adults residing in the Autonomous Community of Galicia who carry out the eligible activities. The application is made on the program’s website, where each user must provide:

• Full name, DNI or NIE, and a declaration of legal age.
• Place of residence via postal code.
• Mobile phone number and email address.

Applications may also be submitted in person at the General Directorate of Trade and Consumption and at the regional departments of the ministry, with express authorization to process them on paper. Adhesion and obligations of businesses

Merchants wishing to exchange the vouchers must download the “bonos Activa comercio” application on their mobile phone and enter the amount and the concept of the sale, which must correspond to the numbering of the ticket or invoice delivered to the customer. The platform allows them to consult the sales history, the exchanged vouchers, and the payments from the collaborating entity.

In case of a return, the amount may be exchanged for another purchase of equal or higher price or for a voucher with no expiration date; in no case will cash or card payments be refunded. The General Directorate of Trade and Consumption may cancel the adhesion of establishments that fail to comply with the conditions and request the reimbursement of funds.

Raffle of four 250-euro vouchers

The order also regulates the Activa comercio 2026 voucher Raffle, which will be held on TikTok and Instagram after the program’s budget has been exhausted. There will be four prizes of 250 euros each, two per social network, with a validity of one week and without the discount limits of the ordinary voucher. To participate, one must be a user of the program, have purchased from an adhered business, follow the Xunta de Galicia accounts, and comment on the publication with a message including the hashtag #ComercioGalego.

The new call arrives on the eve of the opening of the download period and with a credit that is exhausted on a first-come, first-served basis, therefore both consumers and interested establishments must expedite the procedures: users must register on the website before 9:00 AM on October 28, and merchants must formalize their adhesion and install the application to be able to apply the discounts from the first day.
