Por FactBox Admin

The Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra grants the subsidies for the project “+EMPREGA in Special Employment Centers 2026” to the eight entities that applied for the call, for a total amount of 100,000.00 euros. The funds are intended to finance the personnel costs of the activity support units of non-profit special employment centers in the province. The agreement, adopted unanimously in the ordinary session of October 23, 2026, under number 9.37849 and file 2026050023, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) no. 210, Friday, October 30, 2026, in the Local Administration section.
A call with bases approved in July
The call is based on the regulatory bases approved by the Governing Board itself in the session of July 17, 2026, through agreement 3.37398, under a competitive bidding process. After the application deadline, the eight requests received met the required requirements, and were therefore evaluated according to the assessment criteria and the distribution of amounts provided for in the bases.
The processing of the procedure was supported by the technical report from the head of the Employment Promotion and Local Development service, dated September 15, 2026, and the prior audit report from the Comptroller’s Office, dated October 7, 2026, which was favorable to the processing of the eight files. The selection committee, appointed by resolution RP 2026007317 of September 14, 2026, met via electronic means on October 14 and approved the technical report. The file is processed in accordance with Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, and Law 9/2007, of June 13, on Subsidies of Galicia.
Eight beneficiary entities
The distribution of Annex I, totaling exactly 100,000.00 euros, is as follows:
- Asociación de Discapacitados Intelectuales Virgen de la O (CIF G36150803), file 2025050425: 3 people, 5,000.00 €.
- Bata Servicios Integrales a la Comunidad Sociedad Limitada (CIF B94040524), file 2025046909: 19 people, 11,000.00 €.
- Fundación para Discapacidade e Emprego Juan XXIII (CIF G36551828), file 2025046570: 69 people, 18,000.00 €.
- Grupo Sifu Galicia SL (CIF B27714856), file 2025046904: 47 people, 18,000.00 €.
- Juan María Empleo SL (CIF B27797935), file 2025046559: 21 people, 11,000.00 €.
- Lume Emprego para Persoas con Discapacidade Intelectual S.L. (CIF B36982742), file 2025047636: 41 people, 18,000.00 €.
- San Jerónimo Emiliani SL (CIF B36299121), file 2025050556: 38 people, 14,000.00 €.
- Servilar 2018 SL (CIF B94171758), file 2025046686: 3 people, 5,000.00 €.
In total, the beneficiary entities declare an average of 241 workers with disabilities hired in the 2025 annual period.
Brackets according to personnel with disabilities
The amount of each grant is not negotiable: the guidelines establish closed and non-cumulative brackets, calculated based on the average number of people with disabilities hired at the special employment center. This average is obtained from the data reports for contributions and information by settlement period (Idcpl-ccc) for all months of the previous financial year, provided during the application phase:
- 15 or fewer workers with disabilities: €5,000.00.
- From 16 to 30 people: €11,000.00.
- From 31 to 40 people: €14,000.00.
- More than 40 people: €18,000.00.
When the calculation of the average produces decimals, the result is rounded up to the next whole number. This criterion explains why the entity with 69 workers and the one with 41 receive the same maximum amount of 18,000 euros, while two entities with only 3 people receive 5,000 euros each.
Ten days to accept and appeal process
The expenditure is authorized against the budgetary application 26/240.2410.489.90. The grants are understood to be accepted if the beneficiaries do not oppose or expressly reject them within a period of ten business days from the notification. The agreement ends the administrative process, therefore an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the same body within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative section of the Court of First Instance of Pontevedra. The agreement will also be published on the provincial institution’s website. The extracts of the session of October 23 will already appear in BOPPO no. 208, of October 28, 2026, in point 9 of the agenda.
The grant comes at a time when the cost of support staff is one of the main burdens for social initiative entities in the province. Support units are what allow people with disabilities in special employment centers to work in adapted conditions, so these 100,000 euros go directly toward maintaining protected jobs in the Pontevedra third sector. Eight entities, 241 workers, and a call that is fully resolved: no application is left out.
