Justizministerin erlaubt zivilen Strafvollzugsbediensteten das Führen von Pfefferspray
Die Bundesministerin für Justiz hat per Verordnung zivile Strafvollzugsbedienstete ermächtigt, dienstlich bereitgestellte Reizstoffsprühgeräte zu führen, deren Gebrauch auf Notwehrfälle beschränkt ist. Die Regelung wurde am 25. August 2026 im Bundesgesetzblatt kundgemacht.

Justice Minister allows civilian prison staff to carry pepper spray
The Federal Minister of Justice has authorized civilian prison staff, by decree, to carry officially provided irritant spray devices, the use of which is limited to cases of self-defense. The regulation was promulgated in the Federal Law Gazette on August 25, 2026.

La ministra de Justicia permite que el personal civil de las prisiones lleve spray de pimienta
La Ministra Federal de Justicia ha autorizado, mediante decreto, al personal civil de los centros penitenciarios a portar dispositivos de spray irritante proporcionados por el servicio, cuyo uso queda limitado a casos de defensa propia. La normativa fue publicada en el Boletín Oficial Federal el 25 de agosto de 2026.
