EU Commission clears Electrolux and Midea home appliance joint ventures

On 5 August 2026 the European Commission declared the notified concentration Electrolux/Midea (case M.12454) compatible with the internal market under Article 6(1)(b) of the EU Merger Regulation. The non-opposition was published in the Official Journal of the European Union of 13 August 2026, C/2026/4446.
