EU streamlines prospectus regime to ease capital raising for issuers

The European Commission published Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/1061 in the Official Journal on 13 August 2026, rewriting the annexes of the EU prospectus regime to cut the number of schedules and lighten disclosure burdens. A single registration document and securities note for non-equity securities replace the separate retail and wholesale annexes, modelled on the expired EU Growth prospectus.
