Autoriza el Gobierno un almacén solar de baterías de 39,6 MW en Sevilla
La Dirección General de Política Energética y Minas ha otorgado a Afrodita Solar, SL la autorización administrativa previa y de construcción del módulo de almacenamiento por baterías «BESS Afrodita», de 39,6 MW, hibridado con el parque fotovoltaico «Afrodita» en Los Molares (Sevilla).

The Government authorizes a 39.6 MW solar battery storage facility in Seville
The General Directorate of Energy Policy and Mines has granted Afrodita Solar, SL the prior administrative and construction authorization for the battery storage module “BESS Afrodita”, of 39.6 MW, hybridized with the photovoltaic park “Afrodita” in Los Molares (Seville).

The Provincial Delegation of Sustainable Development of Cuenca has opened public information on three battery energy storage facilities of 45.36 MW each, which will be hybridized with two existing photovoltaic plants in Barajas de Melo.

Baleares tumba el parque fotovoltaico y BESS de Son Orlandis en Marratxí por impacto ambiental
La directora general de Armonización Urbanística y Evaluación Ambiental ha emitido una declaración de impacto ambiental desfavorable para la planta solar y batería de almacenamiento que MERAK STORAGE 1 SL quería implantar en el polígono 4 de Marratxí, por incumplimiento de criterios de distancia, desequilibrio de potencias y falta de planificación territorial.

Balears rejects the Son Orlandis photovoltaic and BESS park in Marratxí due to environmental impact
The Director General of Urban Harmonisation and Environmental Assessment has issued an unfavourable environmental impact statement for the solar plant and storage battery that MERAK STORAGE 1 SL wanted to install in polygon 4 of Marratxí, due to non-compliance with distance criteria, imbalance of capacities and lack of territorial planning.

ABEI Green Energy, S.L.-k sustatutako BESS Stand Alone Elgea biltegiratze-planta ez da ingurumen-inpaktuaren ebaluazio arruntera bidaliko, betiere ebazpenean ezarritako babes- eta zuzenketa-neurriak betetzen badira. Hala erabaki du Eusko Jaurlaritzaren Administrazio Ambientalaren Zuzendaritzak, eta erabakia 2026ko abuztuaren 12an argitaratu da Euskal Herriko Agintaritzaren Aldizkarian.

The Elgea battery plant will not be sent for a regular environmental assessment if the measures are met.
ABEI Green Energy, S.L.-promoted storage plant BESS Stand Alone Elgea will not be referred to the ordinary environmental impact assessment, provided that the protection and correction measures established in the resolution are met. This was decided by the Directorate of Environmental Administration of the Basque Government, and the decision was published in the Official Gazette of the Basque Country on August 12, 2026.
