農林水産省は2026年9月3日付官報で、種苗法に基づく品種登録出願24件を受理・公示した。国内外の種苗企業や研究機関、自治体がサツマイモ、レタス、イネ、イチゴなどの新品種を出願している。

MAFF publishes 24 plant variety applications under Plant Variety Protection Act

On September 3, 2026, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries announced in the official gazette that it has accepted and publicized 24 applications for variety registration based on the Plant Variety Protection and Seed Act. Domestic and international seed companies, research institutions, and local governments have applied for new varieties of sweet potatoes, lettuce, rice, strawberries, and other crops.

MAPA publica 24 solicitudes de registro bajo la Ley de Protección de Variedades Vegetales

El Ministerio de Agricultura, Silvicultura y Pesca, en el boletín oficial del 3 de septiembre de 2026, aceptó y publicó 24 solicitudes de registro de variedades basadas en la Ley de Semillas y Plantas. Empresas de semillas y plantas, instituciones de investigación y gobiernos locales, tanto nacionales como extranjeros, han solicitado nuevas variedades de batata, lechuga, arroz y fresas, entre otros.
